莊主兼Winemaker Giorgio Flessati喺意大利著名葡萄酒學院 San Michele all'Adige畢業, 曾經喺意大利、法國同澳洲唔同酒莊擔任過顧問，2004年佢堂兄兼好友Mauro Olivier搵佢合作，喺2005年正式成立Mayu酒莊，開展Giorgio喺智利Elqui Valley釀造Premium智利酒嘅旅程～

莊名Mayu 解做Creek of Stars，正正代表著Elqui Valley嘅萬里星空～出名觀星嘅Elqui Valley同時亦係智利著名嘅高質酒區，充沛嘅日照，以海風同高山上嘅冷空氣平衡，加上日夜溫差，令葡萄成熟又可以保持良好酸度～

而Mayu正正坐落海拔2000米以上，是同區最高的酒莊之一，得天獨厚的風土難怪短短十幾年歷史就成功釀出高分Premium酒款！

The peppery 2019 Carmenere Syrah is a 55/45 blend of the two grapes and is intensely spicy with smoky notes and a very showy nose. The palate is juicy and round, with ripe fruit flavors and integrated acidity. The Syrah from this zone has a lot of character and kind of dominates the blend. 45,000 bottles produced.

🏅Vinous 90分

The 2019 Carménère Syrah is a blend of 51% Carménère and 49% Syrah from the Elqui Valley, each aged for five months in French and American oak, respectively. Maroon in the glass, it delivers chutney aromas with hints of white pepper, bay leaf and blackberry. In the mouth, it’s juicy with a lively freshness, polished tannins and well-defined, balsamic flavor.

呢款個香氣真係好奔放！紅黑果都有，由其係個香料感好明顯，少少煙燻加埋少少泥土感，討好得嚟又有複雜度～入口唔甜但夠juicy, 酸度單寧都好平衡，好易接受，14.5%嘅高酒精都唔會太刺激，反而令酒體更加厚！full body嘅酒款無論Party定大小宴會都好穩陣！當然小編淨飲都好開心～小編之選～
