Chateau Sociando-Mallet 2010 索西昂多馬利酒莊 Haut-Medoc《 風土系列 - TF1013A》
Sociando Mallet公認的高質加上超高性價比令他一直都是資深酒友間的寶藏之一~最有話題的莫過於在1982年歐洲酒評團(The Grand Jury Europeen)評比中,打敗百款波爾多紅酒,僅輸給Chateau Pichon Lalande拿下亞軍寶座!1996年份更拿下冠軍!自此名氣一直不減,當然也伴隨各大酒評的多年高分肯定~
酒莊在1633建立,當時的主人是當地貴族Sossiondo, 不知道是相近還是誤傳,後來就變了做Sociando. 直到1831年,酒莊當時的主人Marie-Elisabeth Alaret嫁了給一位海軍Achille Mallet,自此就把姓氏加上,成為Sociando Mallet. 近代在1969年被Jean Gautreau接下,當時酒莊狀況很差,只剩下5公頃葡萄園,建築也失修,但Jean卻獨具慧眼,看中這裡的風土,而確實這裡的高比例礫土能比一般Haut Medoc種植更高比例的Cabernet Sauvignon. 如今酒莊已發展到八十多公頃,由女兒Sylvie接手。事實上葡萄園亦好接近Saint Estephe Montrose, 所以亦經常被酒評認為帶Saint Estephe氣息,Robert Parker甚至稱其為平民版Latour/Montrose!並稱其為最耐陳的波爾多之一~
Sociando Mallet亦是波爾多中注重風土的表表者,除了有高質土壤外,是極少數從不除葉也不做綠色採收的酒莊!認為多餘的葉可以幫助光合作用產生更多糖份,也可幫葡萄遮陰,更認為產量應該由自然去決定,不採收多餘的葡萄去刻意令餘下葡萄更集中,是真正表現波爾多風土的代表之一!甚至有愛好者認為這就是Sociando Mallet特別風味的成因!

🏅 Stephen Tanzer 92分:
Good bright red-ruby. Pungent, expressive nose offers black raspberry, blueberry, bitter chocolate, leather and flowers. Densely packed, juicy and sweet, with excellent inner-mouth energy to the black raspberry and mineral flavors complicated by sexy smoky oak. Lovely ripeness and vinosity here. Finishes with substantial firm tannins that will support a couple decades of graceful evolution in bottle. Like some past outstanding vintages of Sociando-Mallet, this will make a great ringer in future tastings with classified growers from the northern Medoc.
🏅 Vinous 90+分:
The 2010 Sociando Mallet has a well defined, pure bouquet with blackberry, bilberry and light estuarine scents that gently waft from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, a fine bead of acidity and good weight. It just needs more complexity and terroir expression on the finish. Give this another two or three years. This is one wine where I have encountered better bottles.
🏅 Jancis Robinson 17/20分:
Blueish purple. Nose not that intense. But really rich on the front palate. Purple fruits. Not that St-Estèphe but very seductive. (I tasted this blind in a flight of St-Estèphes.) Lots entrenched here. Ambitious.
實試報告:
酒架宏大,充滿紅椒、薄荷葉、黑加倫子、熟成車厘子及淡淡紫羅蘭花香,香氣吸引誘人。抖氣1小時左右,香氣及味道變得更強烈多變,西梅、桑梅、甘草、Mocha、雲呢拿、Meaty等也能感受,酒體及口感也變得豐富厚實,整體酸度舒適,餘韻悠長,總體各方面也表現平衡,絕對係極具實力的Haut-Medoc,大力推薦。2010年份狀態大勇,此酒也可適合陳存。
