在 1950 年代由 Etienne Grangeon 創立，當初只有 2 公頃的 Grenache，兒子 Alain 在 1963 年加入後帶領酒莊發展，種上了更多品種如 Syrah 和 Mourvedre，去到今天 42 公頃的規模。

包括 19 公頃的 Châteauneuf-du-Pape (其中 1 公頃種上白葡萄)，9 公頃 Côtes-du -Rhône Villages，5 公頃 Côtes-du-Rhône 和 9 公頃 Vin de Pays。跟很多 Châteauneuf-du-Pape 酒莊一樣，主要以 Grenache 為主 (85%)，也種上了 10% Syrah，5% Mourvèdre 作紅酒混調。白葡萄則種上了 Grenache blanc，Clairette，Roussane，Bourboulenc。

在主場 Châteauneuf-du-Pape，Domaine de Cristia 位處於區內東面同樣名為的 Cristia 小區，東北座向的葡萄園主要以沙質土壤為主 (佔 90%)，生產出較新鮮優雅又香氣十足的風格。更自 2005 年開始奉行有機種植，2008 年拿到有機認證，到 2020 年更獲法國最高級環保認證 High Environmental Value (HVE)。

這款 Renaissance 是酒莊第 2 高端的酒款，用上 80-100 年老樹，而葡萄園就在同區神莊 Rayas 旁邊，可說是頂級配置！

If you haven’t figured it out yet, this is one of the up-and coming new superstar producers in Chateauneuf du Pape thanks to the inspired efforts of proprietors Alain and Baptiste Grangeon. The style here seems to be a synthesis of old-line tradition with their emphasis on ancient Grenache vines and a healthy respect for modernist techniques, utilizing newer and smaller oak barrels for the Mourvedre and Syrah components, but aging the Grenache in older wood.

🏅 Wine Advocate 95分 (Jeb Dunnuck)：

Slightly more dense and concentrated, with beautiful mid-palate density and depth (no doubt from the Mourvedre), the 2004 Chateauneuf du Pape Renaissance (60% Grenache, 40% Mourvedre, aged in 25% new French oak) boast stunning notes of blackberry, cassis, licorice, spice-box, white chocolate and roasted garrigue. Full-bodied, rich and thrillingly textured, with a un-2004-like hedonistic appeal, it will continue to dish out loads of pleasure over the coming decade.

Winemaker Baptiste Grangeon hit a home run with his 2004s, and both his Vieilles Vignes and cuvee Renaissance are some of the top wines in the vintage. They show uncommon depth and richness, with big textures, loads of fruit and solid structure. While they’re both a joy to drink now, I see no reason they won’t continue to evolve gracefully (especially the Renaissance).
