如果有一座莊園，將近600年來都是同一個家族所擁有，相信您會情不自禁地被感動！ 在意大利的Tuscany 就有這麼一座莊園 Castello di Fonterutoli，自1435年至今，為Mazzei 瑪翠家族擁有，並且在此建立一座頂級酒莊。

️Mazzei酒莊在意大利葡萄酒的釀造史上具有舉足輕重的地位。Mazzei家族不僅與Tuscany葡萄酒的歷史緊密相連，獲得許多最具影響力的榮耀，同時也與當地整個政治、文化歷史密切相關。家族保存西元1398年12月26日的一份商業合同，先人Ser Lapo Mazzei使用了Chianti的名稱，這也是最早關於Chianti葡萄酒的記載，因此Ser Lapo Mazzei 被譽為“Chianti之父”。

Mazzei家族另一個不可忽視的歷史人物是名望顯赫的Philip Mazzei（1730-1816），一位充滿熱情的葡萄栽培專家、自由思想家，更是永不停息的旅行家暨世界公民。十八世紀時，應其好友Thomas Jefferson（美國第三任總統）的請求，在維珍尼亞州的酒莊種植開墾葡萄園，獲得當時擔任美國獨立戰爭時的殖民地軍總司令George Washington的讚賞“我非常感謝你的樂於助人之舉，將葡萄酒文化帶到這一新世界，同時我也為你葡萄園的繁榮景象感到高興”– George Washington /1779年7月1日

Philip Mazzei提出「人皆生而平等」的概念，影響了Thomas Jefferson，並成為美國獨立宣言的基石，Philip Mazzei也因此被美國推崇為愛國者。 Mazzei酒莊時至今日已傳承25代。對品質優秀的風土人文持續地探索，除了深耕Chianti Classico產區，也將版圖擴大到其它兩個前途無限的新產區：位於Tuscany的Maremma和西西里島東南部的Zisola產區。

Mazzei Concerto di Fonterutoli紅酒最早始於1981年，酒莊在種植技術與葡萄潛力的互相配合的脈絡下，嘗試新的剪枝法️，並以Sangiovese與外來品種混釀。實可說為Super Tuscan的先驅，該酒款更是酒莊的旗艦酒款之一。全人手採摘，控制溫度在26-28°C中發酵，再進行14-18天的浸皮，接著放入法國小型橡木桶（225公升/70%新桶）陳釀18個月後裝瓶。

實試報告:

濃郁的酒體散發著黑莓、藍莓及黑加侖子的香氣，伴隨帶著礦物風味。酒體飽滿集中，口感柔順，結實的力道融合如絲綢般的單寧及豐富果香。是一款典型Sangiovese與Cabernet Sauvignon混釀的美酒，絕對不容錯過。適合搭配香料風味的料理、燉煮野味及熟成芝士。

The 2016 Concerto di Fonterutoli, the estate's blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, is dense, plush and explosive, with superb depth and notable persistence. Super-ripe black cherry, lavender, spice, menthol, licorice and rose petal build in a rich, dramatic wine endowed with superb depth, intensity and pedigree. All the best elements of the house style are on display in this sumptuous, modern Tuscan red. Two thousand sixteen is a terrific vintage for the Concerto.

A flamboyant and flavorful red with lots of plum and cherry character. Full body,soft tannins and a fruity finish. Lovely, fruity wine with a caressing structure.

The 2016 Concerto di Fonterutoli is 80% Sangiovese and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 225-liter French oak for 18 months. The Cabernet Sauvignon element comes through nicely with dark fruit, spice and some grilled herb. The grape gives the wine a heavier and more concentrated center of gravity. However, the soul and style of the wine is driven by the freshness and delicate aromas of the Sangiovese.
