Chateau Cantenac-Brown 肯德布朗城堡位於波爾多左岸的 Margaux 瑪歌村，相鄰 Chateau Margaux 瑪歌莊園，在1855梅多克分級中被列為三級莊。19世紀初由蘇格蘭畫家 John-Lewis Brown 亦是葡萄酒愛好者時任莊主，把自己的名字加到莊園裏，並建造了一座都鐸風格的宅邸，其葡萄酒風格跟建築如出一轍：高雅而精緻。隨後酒莊經歷過 M. 葡萄園位於瑪歌村一片風土優異的礫石坡地上，含有石英的砂礫土，被譽為“瑪歌的鑽石”，佈滿不同形狀大小的砂礫和石灰岩形成極好的排水系統。酒莊種植的49公頃葡萄園全部採用可持續發展的種植方法，平均樹齡為35年的葡萄樹，嚴格控制產量，手工採收，根據葡萄的品種和年齡，將來自不同地塊的葡萄分開放入控溫不銹鋼罐中單獨發酵，以便為葡萄酒提供正確混釀配方。酒精發酵時長約為10天，緊接著在木桶中進行蘋果酸-乳酸發酵。隨後，酒液被轉入法國橡木桶中陳釀14個月，新桶使用比例為60%，40%為一年舊桶，每3個月進行一次倒罐，最後再經蛋清過濾，繼而在酒莊內裝瓶。

The 2015 Cantenac Brown is medium to deep garnet-purple in color with a nose of cherry cola, cassis and warm plums with touches of spice box and pencil shavings. The medium-bodied palate sports a lot of oak, with very firm and chewy tannins and a woody finish.

This medium to full-bodied effort has plenty of tannins, as well as toasty oak, yet is perfectly balanced and has a great mix of both freshness and richness. It’s a tour de force that will be drinkable in 4-5 years and last for 25-30 years!
