🌟 僅有6間並列Graves區紅白列級莊之一
Château Carbonnieux卡本尼爾堡是位於格拉夫(Grave)產區的列級酒莊(Crus Classésde Graves)，1953年，波爾多格拉夫(Grave)產區設立了自己的分級制度，評選出了16家列級酒莊，Grave的分級制度是按紅白酒分開去評審，酒莊的紅酒入選了列級莊級數，不等於他的白酒也必然是列級莊，當時，紅白酒都能入選成為列級莊的酒莊，只有6間，Château Carbonnieux卡本尼爾堡就是其中一間同時入選的酒莊，(鼎鼎大名嘅Château Haut-Brion竟然唔係其中一間)，格拉夫的分級制度一直都現在都沒有什麼大改變，優良的傳統一直留存下來。

Dried lemon, beeswax, sage, pineapple and guava on the nose. Medium-bodied with tangy acidity. Vibrant citrus and tropical fruit. Compact, creamy and intense. 65% sauvignon blanc and 35% semillon.

The 2019 Carbonnieux Blanc has turned out very nicely, offering up aromas of citrus oil, pear, fresh herbs, clear honey and crisp stone fruit, followed by a medium-bodied, elegantly satiny and incisive palate that's bright and precise, concluding with a saline finish. Bottled under Diam, this is already showing well in a tangy, Sauvignon-driven style.

The 2019 Carbonnieux Blanc has a lovely nose, nicely focused and understated at first, but there is more mineralité compared to its peers, tensile and focused.The palate is well-balanced with grapefruit and wild peach, slightly oily in texture with very expressive Sémillon towards the finish. Impressive. Tasted blind at the Southwold annual tasting.

Because of both time and space constraints, I am not able to provide tasting notes for the 2009 dry white Bordeaux, but it is an extremely strong vintage. Most châteaux equaled the dazzling quality of the 2007 dry whites. That said, the 2009s tend to be less classic than 2007, but more exotic, honeyed, and higher in alcohol, with compelling richness. The 2009s will probably have a shorter evolutionary curve, but these wines tend to last a long time, even in a vintage such as this. They are fascinating dry white wines.

Cedary edge – almost a hint of pine resin. Fresh and just a touch of lanolin on the palate over the bright citrus fruit. Tight, fresh and good length with generous fruit in the middle.

Precise and fresh with stony minerality. Lighter in weight than others. Elegant and fresh palate, but has length, persistence and nice minerality on the finish.
