🔎我地成日叫Castellare di Castellina做老牌酒莊,其實叫得老牌係有原因。因為此酒莊會用最傳統的工藝去釀酒,而所釀的酒款也只選用當地種植的原生葡葡,而非大路國際葡萄Cabernet或Merlot,夠晒地道。此酒款用上兩款意大利原生葡萄Sangioveto及Canaiolo混釀。Sangioveto其實是Sangiovese的Clone,專在Tuscany作種植。而Canaiolo (卡內奧羅) 🍇,也稱為Canaiolo Nero,主要種植在意大利中部,以及Lazio (拉齊奧)、Sardinia (撒丁島)和Marches (馬凱)等產區。早在1303年,已有人種植Canaiolo。至1600年,Canaiolo甚至被譽為是Tuscany產區最好的紅葡萄品種之一。18世紀時,Canaiolo在Chianti產區中的受歡迎程度甚至比Sangiovese更高。但由於Canaiolo容易受瘤蚜蟲病所感染,自19世紀歐洲病害過後,它的受歡迎程度大大降低⬇️。Canaiolo現在是Chianti葡萄酒法定釀酒葡萄之一,現在也有很多Chianti葡萄酒會用Canaiolo跟Sangiovese混釀,它能柔化Sangiovese的單寧,賦予葡萄酒飽滿的酒體和柔軟的口感。

✅Castellare diCastellina為喚起大眾對於大自然的重視,除了堅持使用有機栽種以外,酒款皆已「鳥」作為酒標,而且每一年份的「鳥」都不一樣,並且以Chianti產區的原生鳥種為主。🌱葡萄園位於409米海拔,採用20年以上的葡萄藤,在28度恆溫不鏽鋼桶內發酵,接著在小型法國橡木桶陳放7個月,後在瓶中靜置7個月方上市。

Red plums and berries vie with a fair dose of oak on the nose and palate, where the fresh fruit is riding the firm fruit and oak tannins well. Medium-bodied with good balance for aging, though for riserva lovers it’s approachable even now.

The 2020 Chianti Classico Riserva is laced with copious dark fruit, leather and sweet spice. There's plenty of depth and appeal, but the oak imprint is also quite strong. With a bit less oak this could be a materially transparent expression of Sangiovese, but it is undoubtedly very well done.
