Champagne Maurice Delot is a traditional family house founded in 1933

We are located in the heart of the Côte desBar in one of the most prestigious terroirs of Champagne: Celles sur Ource .

Located in the south of the appellation,our Burgundian influences are reflected
in our soil and in our wines. Our plots have been managed for more than a century with the same objective, to produce great champagnes while ensuring the sustainability of our production tool.

In 2018, our estate received the terra vitis ecological certification, guaranteeing a culture as close as possible to the environment and our vines. Our viticulture is a chimera mixing old viticultural practices and modernity of the last moments.

Convinced that the ideal viticulture solution does not yet exist, each year is an opportunity to question ourselves, to seek progress.

We don't make our wines, we age them. Fleeing the non-interventionism of natural wines as well as the systematic supply of inputs, our vinifications are a constant support, a tailor-made work for each cuvée.

Year after year, each owner has kept in tact the philosophy of Delot champagnes.

Legende

100% True Pinot Blanc. Ancestral grapevariety banned in the middle of the century for its fragility and lowyield. It offers an intense refined Champagne, of extreme finesse,combined with an unequaled length in the mouth. It will be preferred as anaperitif and should be served at an average temperature (8°) in order to fullyexpress its aromatic complexity.

Tasting Note:

Appearance: clear pale yellow goldcolor with deep pale yellow reflections.

Olfactory: lime blossom, apple, pear, menthol, smoked limestone, candiedgrapes, peach, quince, almonds.

The palate:  supple and fresh attack, creamy and meltedeffervescence. Pulpy and delicate fruitiness with fragrant nuances andsupported by a fresh and well-integrated lemony acidity. Fresh, slender,elegant, ethereal finish.
