Chateau Bejac Romelys is located in the north of the Medoc wine region in Bordeaux. The owners of the winery are Sylvie Berrouet and Xavier Berrouet. They purchased a 2.5-hectare vineyard in 1986 and joined wine agriculture. The cooperative sells the grapes harvested from the vineyard to the cooperative every year. Chateau Bejac Romelys has 22 hectares of vineyards. The soil of the vineyard is clay-limestone soil. Classic traditional red grape varieties from the Bordeaux wine region are planted in the vineyard, of which Cabernet sauvignon accounts for 70%, Merlot accounts for 20%, and Petitverdot accounts for 20%. 10%, the average grape vine age is 50 years, and the planting density is 5,500 plants per hectare. After the grapes are mature, they are harvested mechanically and sorted manually. They are fermented in stainless steel temperature-controlled fermentation tanks and aged in oak barrels. 35% of the oak barrels are renewed every year.
