Chateau Langoa Barton (朗高巴頓莊園)位於法國波爾多的Saint-Julien(聖朱利安)產區,在1855 分級中位列三級莊。酒莊歷史起源可以追溯到1722年,Thomas Barton離開了故鄉來到了法國,開啟了Barton家族的紅酒旅程。1821年,Thomas的孫子Hugh Barton買下了Chateau Langoa Barton的前身——Chateau Lango),並為其改名為Chateau Langoa Barton。時至今日,Chateau Langoa Barton仍屬於Barton家族,已在八代家族成員的掌管下走過近兩百個春秋。這種從未間斷的傳承使酒莊獨特的文化傳統得以世代積澱,同時也為出產品質穩定、風格統一的佳釀增添了保障。




Chateau Langoa Barton葡萄園占地20公頃,俯瞰著鄰近的Gironde。受益於河流的影響,這裏有著更為溫和的微氣候,較少遭受極端氣候的影響。園內底土以深厚的黏土層為主,表面則覆蓋著眾多礫石。葡萄的種植比例約為57%的赤霞珠、34%的梅洛和9%的品麗珠,梅洛的年份近些年來一直有增加,同時也有種植一些小維多。葡萄平均樹齡為37年,但是,他們有可追溯至1953年的老葡萄樹。葡萄園的葡萄種植密度為每公頃9,100個葡萄樹。酒莊採用可持續發展的種植方法,並不斷提高有機種植的地塊比例,保護葡萄園及周圍的生態環境,從而收穫更優質的釀酒葡萄。




酒莊葡萄酒風格傳統,在1980年中期,Anthony Barton 購置了一套名為“Chai”的新釀酒設備。與波爾多地區生產於1970至1980年間的其他釀酒設備不同的是,“Chai”仍保留傳統木造發酵桶,並非使用不銹鋼桶)。然後在平均50%的新法國橡木桶中陳釀出Langoa Barton城堡的葡萄酒大約20個月。


🏅 Vinous 94 pts (2009)

The 2009 Langoa-Barton has a gorgeous bouquet with blackberry, bilberry, cedar and light tobacco aromas that blossom from the glass. This feels so composed andpure. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, fine-grain tannin,beautifully judged acidity and a svelte, languorous finish that fans out withstyle. What a gorgeous and utterly seductive Saint-Julien. It turns out to be Langoa Barton, a wine that I have rated very highly in the past. 


🏅 Wine Spectator 93 pts(2009)

Very dense and still rather reserved, with dark blueberry, blackberry and fig notes rolled together, framed by freshly brewed espresso and Black Forest cake notes. Long and tarry through the finish, with a melted licorice snap note hanging on at the very end.


🏅 James Suckling 93 pts(2009)

A rich and fleshy wine, yet it remains decisively dry. Attractive blueberry aroma and impressive supple tannins make this very harmonious. If it was slightly brighter in the nose this would rate even higher.


🏅 Vinous 95 pts(2010)

The 2010 Langoa-Barton has a very pure and quite intense bouquet with black cherries, blueberry and star anis aromas that are typically Langoa. The palate is medium-bodied with saturated tannins, impressive body and grip with a liquorice-tinged, saline finish that maybe just lacks a little flesh and needs more on the aftertaste.


🏅Decanter 94 pts(2010)

Lighter framed than Leoville, and while this is delicious, it is not quite at the level of its sibling. Not that anyone is going to complain, and this will be ready to crack out sooner. Opens up to show bramble berry fruits with confident tannins that provide a frame that is going to hold on tight for a good decade at least. Plenty of St-Julien character.


🏅 Wine Advocate 93 pts(2010)

Another wine showing better from bottle than it did from barrel, the 2010 Langoa Barton has the typical structured, dense style, but just as I thought earlier on, it is a much softer and more developed wine than one ordinarily expects from proprietor Anthony Barton. It is full-bodied and impressively endowed with subtle oak, rich cassis fruit and notes of new saddle leather, forest floor, cedar wood and spice box.
