Chateau de Pitray 600年來都是由 Boigne 同一家族持有，酒莊位於 Castillon ，酒友如果要搵平靚正的波爾多，這個產區名字一定要記住，由於酒莊離 Saint Emilion 只有 8 km，所以風土基本上跟 Saint Emilion 無異，而兩者地價和酒價卻相差甚遠，酒莊總面積佔地 100 多公頃，但葡萄田面積只佔 36 公傾，其餘都是覆蓋著草地和樹木，華麗的城堡還配上旅遊住宿，婚宴租場等…這代表著酒莊好有米而不缺錢....酒莊現在已經由第 25 代掌門人 Jean de Boigne - 呢位後起之秀接任，佢上任後即破舊立新，減低橡木桶陳熟的時間，偏重果味的表達，而且鐘情 Cabernet Franc 並逐漸將當中比例提高，他認為成熟的 Cabernet Franc 是令人無法抗拒的，經他一手提升酒莊出品的品質，再配合巿場推廣，Chateau de Pitray 在國際巿場近年已經嶄露頭角，實力可見一斑。

莊主 Jean de Boigne 被問到經營 Chateau de Pitray 追求什麼目標？有以下回答：
「It is to take the key of Pitray from my mom and bring it to my kid, I am not here to make money, I’m here to pass it to my next generation 」

釀酒師特別把 Merlot 和 Cabernet Franc & Malbec 作唔同的陳化，Merlot 會放在法國木桶 12 個月，而 Cabernet Franc & Malbec 則放在不鏽鋼桶以保存其新鮮果味。繼而釀造出與別不同的風格！豐郁的酒體交出濃濃的黑果、奶油、雲呢拿、甘草、朱古力﹐還有雪松味，以及櫻桃、黑莓、黑醋栗。順滑舒服，回甘長，用桶不錯，能兼顧整體的平衡度。

This is good quality, stretching out in the mouth with tannins that are fully supportive of the project, not getting in the way but cheerleading as the fruit takes its first steps.
