產區介紹

Côtes du Marmandais瑪蒙岱丘位於法國西南部，喺1990先成立，就鄰接住波爾多嘅Entre-Deux-Mers, 同波爾多一樣都係俾Garonne河分隔兩岸，已經可以話係波爾多嘅衛星產區🛰️主要葡萄亦同bordeaux一樣係Cabernet Sauvigon, Cabernet Franc同Merlot, 最多可以佔紅酒嘅75%，但亦都有其他甚至原生葡萄: Abouriou, Fer, Malbec, Gamay同Syrah🍇白酒都係以Sauvignon Blanc為主，可以加上最多30％嘅Muscadelle, Ugni Blanc或Semillon🍇但這麼近又那麼遠一直都無乜人識🤧都因為產區早期主要都係種菜的🥬

酒莊介紹

而莊主艾里昂達霍斯（Elian Da Ros）都係俾種番茄、穀物、菸草嘅爸爸養大👨🏻‍🌾雖然都有種啲葡萄但都係賣俾合作社釀酒🥺然而Elian細個果陣已經夢想成為釀酒師，於是他喺14歲就已經選擇了入讀當地嘅釀酒學校，1992年就去到Alsace跟炙手可熱嘅Léonard Humbert (Domaine Zind-Humbrecht)學師，形容對方永遠係佢最尊敬嘅釀酒大師🙏🏻1997年出師決心番屋企Cotes du Marmandais釀出自己嘅酒😤

莊主Elian非常認真，2000年開始全有機耕作，2002年更加跟足師父轉埋做biodynamic生物動力法🌌每一款酒都會試幾次再決定果年用咩方法做，所有酒款都唔用新桶，睇情況去用番1-3年嘅舊桶，講明拒絕copy and paste🙅🏻‍♂️

30年樹齡，Malbec稍為年輕少少，Malbec同Syrah都無除梗😯輕柔萃取，2016年嘅 Merlot, Malbec同Syrah喺600升舊桶陳熟18個月，Cabernet Sauvignon就分開喺舊桶陳熟24個月😮之後blend翻埋6個月先入樽，輕柔萃取加上用桶唔高會喺果感為主嘅風土表現💁🏻‍♂️酒友們唔好壓抑自己嘅好奇心啦😁

structured (Malbec, Merlot) and complex wine with spicy (Syrah) and fresh (Cabernet Sauvignon) aromas. A gentle and respectful vinification of the fruit, followed by a long aging (20 months) in barrels of several wines allow to obtain a wine with fine and silky tannins. The clay-gravel soil brings roundness to the tannins and Chante Coucou goes well with dishes in sauce. Sing Cuckoo is a wine for laying down, if it is drunk young it is sometimes good to decant it to help it open up and express itself. 2016 is a fresh vintage with a nice length in the mouth
