Fleur de Clinet 2017 Pomerol 《ZTF139A》

Located in the heart of Pomerol, Chateau Clinet was already a renowned winery in the region by the 19th century, becoming the most prestigious star winery in the region, alongside Petrus and Lepin. Robert Parker awarded Chateau Clinet a perfect 100 points twice, in 1989 and 2009!

Chateau Client appeared on the map in 1785, and in 1830 it was jointly owned by the Arnaud family, along with Pomerol's "King of Wines" Petrus. After several changes of ownership, it was purchased by the Laborde family in 1998. The current helmsman is the young Ronan Laborde, who took over as winery manager at the age of 23, causing a stir in the conservative wine world at the time. However, he quickly delivered impressive results. Early on, he collaborated with renowned winemaker Michel Rolland, ensuring that Client's Merlots possessed exquisite craftsmanship. By 2012, he had acquired several more vineyards in Pomerol, expanding the Chateau Client vineyard area. Since then, the winery's products have continued to excel, and prices have risen accordingly.

The 2009 vintage of the estate's first-flavor Chateau Client received a perfect 100 points from Robert Parker, and its second wine is also nearing top quality.

The second wine, Fleur du Clinet, was created in 2006. It skillfully blends grapes grown on three different soil types in Pomerol, producing a remarkably balanced and elegant wine with floral and spicy aromas and fine tannins.

The estate blends 10%-30% of the first-flavor wine into this second wine, giving it an exceptionally enjoyable flavor.
