Gustave Lorentz酒莊是阿爾薩斯三大國際知名酒莊之一，歷史悠久，創立於1836年，至今已有超過180年悠久歷史，傳承至家族的第七代。酒莊位於法國阿爾薩斯的Bergheim，擁有超過三十三公頃自家葡萄園，當中Altenberg de Bergheim特級園以及位於Kanzlerberg的特級園。


現時酒莊由第七代的Georges Lorentz掌舵。他意識到當前和未來的環境挑戰，在 2009 年轉為有機種植。2012 年開始，他們所有自家葡萄園的出品都獲得有機認證。酒莊的規模雖然大，但依舊堅持全部人手採收。值得一提的是，1983年，阿爾薩斯產區隨著開始界定最優良的葡萄園為「特級園」，(Grand Cru)，使其葡萄酒水準更上層樓。而近十多年更明顯的全球暖化，也令此區的酒產生更多變化。酒莊生產的酒款經常被著名航空公司（法國航空公司、日本航空公司、阿聯酋航空）采用，作爲頭等艙用酒。


Altenberg de Bergheim特級園位於Bergheim小鎮的北面，是極佳的Riesling 和Gewurztraminer的地塊，也是阿爾薩斯唯二允許混種與混釀的特級園之一。「Altenberg」在阿爾薩斯的方言解作「老山」的意思。GustaveLorentz 在這塊葡萄園的葡萄藤齡為35– 50年，所以是「老藤」(VieillesVignes)。以粘土石灰岩為主的土壤、南向朝向、以及220-320米的陡峭山坡和山上的溪流都形成了較溫和的氣候，是優質的葡萄的生長環境。


選用Altenbergde Bergheim Grand Cru的Gewurztraminer葡萄釀造，是GustaveLorentz Signature 酒款之一。擁有極為複雜的蜂蜜、薑、番紅花、白胡椒的香氣，有濃厚荔枝的風味。尾端能感受到玫瑰花的花香以及綿滑的奶油口感。

The 2019 Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Altenberg de Bergheim opens herbal and floral on the bright and elegant nose that also reveals delicate spicy and stony notes thanks to the reddish limestone marl soils. Dense and rich on the palate, this is a full-bodied, concentrated, saline and wonderfully bitter Gewürztraminer with a stunning austerity and tannin structure. Passion fruit and mango aromas with kumquat notes define the fruit texture of this slowly developing Altenberg. 14% stated alcohol and 27 grams per liter of residual sugar. Tasted at the domaine in April 2024.

This is aromatic with notes of glazed oranges, ripe mangoes, honeysuckle, acacia and beeswax. Rich and flavorful on the off-dry, creamy palate with tropical character and a lengthy finish. Balanced and focused.
