Kiichiro Iwai is the pioneer of Japanese whiskey. "IWAI TRADITION" is his traditional model for Mars Whisky. In contrast, the taste of Mars whisky "IWAI" is lighter. Blended with Japanese whiskey for a woody and light taste, it brings out the gorgeous aromas stored in bourbon barrels, ready to be savored freely. Sweet, with fruit flavors such as pear and papaya, with hints of red fruit and vanilla.

This limited-release expression from Mars sees its beloved, malt-driven Iwai Tradition finished for nearly a full year in Pedro Ximénez casks, a style of sherry prized for its concentrated sugars and robust, oxidized fruit notes.
