麥赫恩酒莊（McHenry Hohnen Vintners）目前擁有3個葡萄園，分別是：伯恩賽德葡萄園（Burnside Vineyard）、卡佳達普葡萄園（Calgardup Brook Vineyard）和稀素葡萄園（Hazel Vineyard）。每個葡萄園都擁有自己獨特的地理特性和風貌風土，酒莊根據各園區的特點，種植了不同的葡萄品種。伯恩賽德葡萄園占地11公頃，購買於1976年，位於瑪格利特河的大拐彎處，靠近印度洋，目前種植多個葡萄品種。稀素葡萄園占地40公頃，購買於1998年，位於威卓奇夫（Witchcliffe）南部，查普曼溪（Upper Chapman Brook）朝北的斜波上，那裡陽光充足，土壤富含礫石，地理位置優越，主要種植波爾多葡萄品種。酒莊優質的“Rolling Stone”系列葡萄酒所用的葡萄都是產自此葡萄園區。卡佳達普葡萄園是麥克亨利莫里和布萊恩（Brian Sierakowski）於1995年合夥購買的，目前已開發40公頃，位於卡佳達普的南部，盛產品質上乘的西拉（Shiraz）和霞多麗（Chardonnay）。

Crispand vibrant, a strong core acidity drives searing focus and mineral intensitythrough to an extremely long finish.

Pale lemon to straw yellow colour. Whitepeach, roasted cashews and hints of smoky oyster aromas lift from the glass.Palate opens with bright peach and hints of grapefruit, then smoky nuttinessfills in and builds complexity and power. Acidity works well and ensures theflow has drive and persistence right to the very long and pristine finish.

Planted 1999. Ironstone gravel over clay.Very saline, an almost Jura-like character here, green apple, citrus, mint. It’sfresh and smells of sea breeze and fresh laundry, plenty of flint and finechalky texture, a little cinnamon and salted almond, bright acid bite, with afinish of excellent length. Oyster shells. Delightful. Lip smacking and deliciousChardonnay of delicacy and distinctive character.

The 2022 Hazel's Vineyard Chardonnay leadswith creamy crushed and salted nuts, yellow peach and stewed apples. In themouth, the wine is all about curry leaves and a hint of marzipan, candiedalmonds and pastry. There is also a hint of underripe pear. In some ways, it isarchetypal Margaret River Chardonnay: powerful and yet tightly coiled, withfirm acidity, populated by rich fruit and long. The acidity that sits on theback of the palate is fierce, and it serves to rip through the fruit and lingerthrough the finish. I'd say that this wine will be better in a few years, whichdoes make me sound like a broken record. But they really do blossom five yearsafter harvest—so, circa 2027. For now, many will drink and love this, but itwill be better! 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
