Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut Champagne NV 酩悅香檳《醇酒系列 - ZF1027》

Champagne Moet & Chandon（酩悅香檳）歷史頗為久遠，始創於 1743 年，如今已超越了兩個多世紀。據說有“香檳之父”之稱的聖本篤修士唐•培裏儂（Dom Perignon）發明了香檳酒之後，酒莊創始人克勞德（Claude Moet）先生即著手試釀，然而酒莊卻一直名不見經傳，到他兒子接管時也未見有大突破。直到他的孫子 Jean-Remy Moet 掌管酒莊時，因 Jean-Remy Moet 認識了當時還是青年軍官的拿破崙一世，且拿破崙一世相當喜愛“Moet & Chandon”香檳，至此這個酒莊的名字才開始揚名天下。Jean-Remy Moet 去世後，他的兒子 Victor） 與女婿 Pierre-Gabriel Chandon 共同繼承了酒莊，酒莊因此更名為 Champagne Moet & Chandon，從此更加聲名遠揚。

法國大革命時，Dom Perignon 修士當年所住的 Hautvillers 修道院與葡萄園被充公，Moet & Chandon 酒莊把握機會於拍賣會中斥巨金將其購入，將其辟為博物館，並加建了 Dom Perignon  銅像，令香檳愛好者以“朝聖”的心態前往參觀。這個非常明智的投資，讓人們都認為 Moet & Chandon 才是“武林正宗”。1927 年，另一個著名香檳酒商 Mercier 莊主的女兒下嫁給 Moet & Chandon 酒莊的少東，而註冊商標“Dom Perignon”作為嫁妝也來到了 Moet & Chandon 酒莊。之後，Moet & Chandon 酒莊立即將其最 好的香檳命名為“Dom Perignon”，在美國一炮打響。

Champagne Moet & Chandon 擁有 664 公頃的葡萄園，所生產的各種香檳，占了法國香檳外銷總數的 1/4，成為法國具有代表性的香檳品牌之一。其中，Dom Perignon 精選——香檳王的瓶數，從不對外公開，據估計約有 15 萬瓶左右。一般香檳，5 年便已成熟，過了 10 年就開始走下坡。而 Dom Perignon 精選香檳卻要 10 年才達到顛峰，甚至再存放 10 年、 20 年也沒問題，這或許就是其能成為高身價“香檳王”的原因。除 Dom Perignon 精選香檳外，Moet & Chandon 酒莊也生產 Dom Perignon 粉紅香檳，此香檳首次釀造於 1959 年，用 2/3 的 Pinot Noir 和 1/3 的 Chardonnay 調配釀成，並不是每年都生產，優秀的年份有 1999 年、1996 年、1985 年和 1982 年。Dom Perignon 粉紅香檳曾被伊朗國王選為慶祝古波斯王朝成立 2000 年的專用香檳。現在它已經成為歐美上流社會男女常用的定情酒。

Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut Champagne NV 是 Champagne Moet & Chandon 的旗艦商品，自 1869 年創立以來，Brut Imperial是最具代表性也最成功推廣至全球的單品。它完整呈現出三種香檳葡萄品種所代表的多樣性，表現出香檳區優質葡萄園特有的濃郁性，讓 Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut 最具代表性的特徵就是它活潑生動的果香，在味蕾上的表現又相當的優雅細膩。Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut 它以三種香檳葡萄和諧調配而成 (30%至40%的 Pinot Noir 紅葡萄, 30%至40%的 Meunier 紅葡萄，20%至30%的 Chardonnay 白葡萄)。釀酒師不惜使用珍貴的典藏酒維持香檳品質 (使用量20%~30%不等)。香氣非常活潑，白果香 (蘋果、梨子、白桃)，柑橘果香 (檸檬)，淡淡的花香 (檸檬花) 與優雅的奶油餅乾及新鮮堅果香。濃郁滑順的口感，圓潤細緻，最後帶有清新爽口的感覺，達到將香檳最完美平衡的境界!

An elegant version, fine and creamy in texture and backed by lively, orange peel acidity. A streak of smoke-tinged minerality underscores flavors of almond madeleine, poached pear, anise and preserved lemon. Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.

This is showing aromas of apricots, grapefruit, pears and short crust. Some walnuts, too. Medium-bodied, with soft bubbles and tasty nut and pie crust notes at the end. Blend of pinot noir, meunier and chardonnay. 24 months on the lees.

🏅 Wine Enthusiast 90 pts

The lower dosage of this famous brand has produced good balance between the crisply textured white fruits and the light minerality. The Champagne just hints of some bottle age. It is totally ready to drink.

🏅 Vinous 90 pts

Light, bright yellow. Musky pear and toasty lees on the nose and in the mouth. Fleshy and open-knit, with a hint of bitter lemon pith adding back-end cut. Finishes on a gently smoky note, with very good cling and focus and a hint of bitter quinine. This must be the best example of this bottling that I've had in years, if not decades. In the past the Imperial Brut received a dosage of 12 g/I, but no more; in fact, there's talk that in the near future it may be dropped down as far as 7 g/I.
