Founded in 1811, Perrier-Jouët has long been known by the elegant epithet ‘The Flower of Champagne,’ boasting a history even more venerable than Krug or Dom Pérignon! In 1811, Perrie-Nicholas-Marie Perrier and his wife Adèle Jouet established the Perrier-Jouët brand. Over two centuries, they cultivated multiple premium vineyards within France's designated Champagne region. Among these, the Côte des Blancs vineyard in Cramont is rated as a 100% premier cru. Other collections such as Belle Epoque, Grand Brut and Blanson Rosé series all originate from vineyards scoring 99.2% in quality assessments. Renowned for its Chardonnay grapes with a pronounced finish, these exceptional grapes craft the brand's classic flavour profile.

Perrier-Jouët is renowned for its champagne white wines, having pursued uncompromising excellence for nearly two centuries. Its classification as a premier cru is a testament to its unique terroir. Its high-quality grapes require minimal added sugar, allowing the blend's refined qualities to shine through. Pioneering an entirely new and distinct champagne-making method, it produced the first authentic “Brut” cuvée. This philosophy endures to this day, with Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut as the heir to this tradition and the originator of the renowned Perrier-Jouët style.
Cellar Master Hervé Deschamps selects the finest wines from approximately fifty different cuvées, skilfully blending each bottle with a proportion of reserve wines. This blend is anchored by the distinctive depth of Pinot Noir, complemented by the captivating fruitiness of Pinot Meunier, and enhanced with Chardonnay from the estate's finest vineyards to impart freshness, alongside flinty and mineral characteristics. Following bottling, the cuvée undergoes a three-year ageing period in the cellars. Through Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut, the Head Winemaker strives to express the wine's structure, fruitiness and richness, alongside a balanced character suited to food pairing. This distinctive blending technique fully embodies the pursuit of perfection.

【Continuing the Seventh Generation Legacy】
In 1993, Hervé Deschamps formally succeeded André Baveret as Head Winemaker, becoming the seventh Head Winemaker in Parisian Flower's two-century history. Unlike the customary approach of other Champagne blenders—who typically blend samples with similar taste profiles before standardising the proportions to match the house style—Hervé Deschamps first sketches a complete ‘blueprint’. He then relies on his memory of dozens of sample characteristics to execute the blending in one fluid motion.
The winemaker's craft cannot be delegated. Hervé's responsibilities encompass overseeing champagne quality, fermentation processes, disgorging, ageing, barrel transfers, and blending.
‘The moment I step onto the blending platform, I feel more like an artist: I believe the fusion of intuition, inspiration, and craftsmanship sparks something truly extraordinary.’
- Hervé Deschamps

Palate: The wine displays a medium salmon hue with coppery highlights. The bouquet unfurls with ripe strawberry and bright raspberry notes, subtly interwoven with gentle spice, evoking Hawaiian pink ginger, citrus and honey, alongside a hint of earthiness. Upon tasting, freshly pressed strawberry flavours leap onto the palate, accompanied by citrus and earthy notes, lingering in an exceptionally long and persistent finish.
Food pairings: Appetisers such as strawberries or nuts, seafood, salads, white meats (such as fish terrines, scallops, or oysters—particularly those with a milder flavour profile), and mildly spicy dishes. It also lends itself beautifully to light, elegant cocktails and is equally suited for both confectionery and savoury cooking.
