Piombaia was born from the union of theRossi family (from Montalcino) and the Cantini Family (from Pisa). For threegenerations the two families have driven the farm where at present dayFrancesco, Cecilia and Vittorio Cantini are taking care of it and were able tomake the most of the growth of the Brunello di Montalcino wine while having atthe same time great respect for their land and it's vital natural cycles whichbrought them to apply the principals of biodynamic agriculture at present time.

Aged in tonneaux and large casks.

Nose: cherry, wild strawberries, red roses, the aromas of this wine envelop youand strongly recall the fragrances and scents of the wines of the Ilcineseland.

Taste: the drink is elegant, fluid; the fruity is in the foreground, withsilky tannins and an acid and savory vein that integrates perfectly with thesweet aftertaste of red fruits. This wine already shows all the potential,complexity and elegance that the vintage promises.
