Fermentation is performed in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by aging for 12 months in 225L French oak barrels. Since the Vauthier family took over, their extensive winemaking team and advanced winemaking facilities have further elevated the quality of the wines. The first vintage, 2009, received a James Suckling score of 91 points, and only years 12 and 13 have since fallen below 90, with all other vintages consistently exceeding 90. The winery transitioned to organic farming in 2019, and the quality of the wines has further improved, earning 94 points from James Suckling the following year, 2020, making it a promising winery under Ausone.

A typical Right Bank blend, this wine doesn't strive for fresh fruit or barrel notes. Instead, it captures the aromas of Bordeaux's Right Bank, with hints of earth and truffles. The wine is smooth, with mature tannins and delicate acidity.
