In 450 years of uninterrupted winemaking tradition, you learn a lot about nature, the weather, the soil, the vines and how to get the most out of it all. From this wealth of experience of the generations before us, we benefit as producers and you as a wine lover today very much.

Not least because of this, we celebrated our 450th anniversary in 2010 with due respect. The great popularity that we have experienced here and still can experience is reason enough for us to be able to offer you wines in the years to come that promise moments of pure pampering.

Wines that are fun with every sip. As easy as our claim to our wines is to describe it - to actually fulfill it year after year demands all our dedication as a winemaker. For this we rely on natural development with low yields and on the optimum soil, selective hand picking and gentle vinification.

... IS QUALITY ...

Depending on the variety, we grow our grapes in stainless steel tanks or oak barrels. Our strong Burgundy wines mature in traditionally proven barrels of local oak, which give the wines their subtle vanilla flavor and the round enamel. The expansion of the Rieslings, Silvaner and Rivaner in neutral stainless steel tanks, in turn, ensures that the fruit aroma already obtained in the vineyard is also fully reflected in your glass.

Our motivation: love of wine and the ambition to always be a little bit better. As the Austrian composer Gustav Mahler said: "Tradition is the preservation of the fire and not the worship of the ashes." That is how we see it. Therefore, we do not rest on our laurels, but want to inspire you with each sip anew of our wines. Of wines in whose character the experience of 450 years of winemaking tradition and our joy in winemaking resonate.

📝Floral orange blossom aromas, the palate has really good intensity of fresh green citrus fruit, great acidity and some mineral complexity.
