With its aroma of yuzu, hints of green tea, and a spicy ginger aftertaste, Suntory hopes that Tsui SUI will pair well with food.

The packaging is primarily embellished in turquoise. The character "翠" (Sui) is a calligraphy work by calligrapher Ogino Nisetsu, and is adorned with a small illustration of a "jade bird (fish dog)." The bottle is similar in shape to the ROKU bottle, which is hexagonal.

Distillery

Suntory is Japan's oldest whisky-making company. Its origins can be traced back to a small shop founded in 1899 by Torii Shinjiro, who specialized in selling imported wine.

Suntory, officially Suntory Spirits Limited, is not a single brand. It operates across three distilleries: Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita. In addition to the distilleries' signature whiskies, they also produce Hibiki, renowned for its blends. Therefore, Suntory brands commonly found on the market include: Suntory, Hibiki, Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita.

Distillation

"Sui" is a new product launched by Suntory on March 10, 2020, and features a quintessentially Japanese style. In addition to the eight common gin ingredients (juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, angelica fruit, cinnamon, cardamom, bitter orange peel, and lemon peel), three additional Japanese herbal ingredients are added: yuzu, green tea, and ginger. The flavors of these ingredients are brought out through infusion and distillation, respectively, and the bottled concentration is 40%.
