COFAMA VINS I CAVES was founded in 2002 in order to represent different wineries internationally due to our skills in the world of wines as well as in international business.

In 2006 COFAMA VINS I CAVES started a new strategy based on managing own brands and adding more different cellars on its portfolio. After that period, we have registered many different brands and also we developed several autonomous “projects” all them managed by our company.

In 2016 COFAMA VINS I CAVES obtained their own Bottling Register so we operate as a winery at each appellation we bottled from.

Early Cava was called Spanish Champagne, and later it was named Cava to distinguish it from French Champagne. Cava, like Champagne, only has white and pink wines. 95% of Cava is produced in the Penedès region of Catalonia, but it can also be produced in parts of Rioja and Valencia in Spain.

In addition to Prosecco, Cava is also a well-known and stable cost-effective choice for parties/festivals/banquets!

Unlike Prosecco, Cava uses the traditional champagne brewing method, and also needs secondary fermentation in the bottle, and then it needs to be aged on lees for at least 9 months, which will bring out a small amount of champagne's aged and toasted aroma (Creamy, toasty, etc.) ~ This is also a major selling point of Cava, not just fruity ~ It has a mature fruit aroma of a warmer climate, soft acidity, but also has a champagne aroma, which is a good choice to meet your three wishes (fruity and easy to drink, "champagne" shadow, high cost performance)

Tasting Note

The wine is one of the Cami de Flors collection, is slightly sweet Semi seco grade, with 35g/L of leftover sugar, after secondary fermentation in the bottle on lees aged for 10 months

Typical Cava aroma - with fresh and sweet pineapple, white peach, lemon flavor, with floral and light champagne aroma - slightly sweet in the mouth, easy to drink juicy, bring out a lively fruity feeling and not too greasy, affordable and stable, no complaints ~
