酒莊 Winery

1859年獲得萬國博覽會第一面獎盃肯定殊榮並為拿破崙三世所偏愛。1864年獲得俄國沙皇鍾愛，在瓶標上用俄語打上俄國特選香檳。1912年鐵達尼號載著幾百枝Charles Heidsieck 香檳撞到冰山，輪船斷成兩截與酒一同跌進大西洋。到1985 年，科學家將沉睡了七十三年的Charles Heidsieck 香檳同鐵達尼一齊喚醒，還得到人頭馬干邑垂青，收購了香檳莊，回復其昔日的風光。幾經輾轉，現在已經是法國EPI (Europeenne de Participation Industrielle)旗下的頂級香檳品牌。

有關釀造 Winemaking

Charles Heidsieck特別賣點就是它的旗艦款Brut Reserve中陳酒使用的超高比例（大量採用平均年齡達10年左後的陳酒調配，陳酒佔最後酒款的40％之多）。然後，酒款在推出市場之前再次在酒泥上陳年5年（比一般的無年份香檳都要久得多），品牌對 Brut Reserve 質量的重視程度，甚至使它在2002年如此一個品質傑出的年份，竟然沒有發放2002年份香檳，反而選擇這些上等年份的最好葡萄來補充酒窖中的基酒儲備。“我們希望消費者用這款Brut Reserve來評判Heidsieck，所以它的品質是重中之重。因此，考慮到Brut Reserve所用的基酒以及所經歷的所有陳年時間成本，價格實在是物超所值。

A creamy and silky champagne that has notes of lemons, pastries and apple compote on the nose. It’s medium-bodied and layered with fine bubbles and tasty pastry notes on the fresh, balanced finish.

Wine Spectator 93 pts

An enticing version, with richly toasted brioche and roasted hazelnut on the nose transitioning to underscore flavors of ripe black cherry, crème de cassis, gingerbread, lime blossoms and crystallized honey. This is long, creamy and harmonious, integrating the expressive profile with vibrant acidity and a fine, satin-like texture. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.
