Chateau Faugeres（富爵酒莊）位於 Saint-Emilion 產區，歷史可以追溯到1823年，當時Guisez 家族購下了 Chateau Faugeres 的葡萄園。從那之後，Chateau Faugeres 就一直在該家族的掌控之中。

到了1987年， Pierre-BernardGuisez，別名 Peby，和他的妻子 Corinne一起繼承了這座酒莊。兩夫妻齊心經營著自己的葡萄園，致力於高品質的追求，全心呵護著這片優異的土地。在Michel Rolland 的幫助下，經過不懈的努力，該酒莊的葡萄酒品質大幅提升。

1998年，年僅52歲的Peby 離開了人世。為了紀念Peby，Peby的妻子和女兒們在葡萄酒釀造上不斷努力改進，最終建立了Chateau Peby Faugeres（菲比富爵酒莊），並同時經營著Chateau Faugeres。

自2000年起，Chateau Faugeres 酒莊和 Chateau Peby Faugeres 酒莊的葡萄酒躋身為第一流名酒。RobertParker 認為，Chateau Faugeres 2000年份酒是“最出色的年份酒之一。”

Guisez 家族共擁有三座酒莊，分佈是 Chateau Faugeres、Chateau Peby Faugeres 和 Chateau Cap de Faugeres（凱富爵酒莊）。2005年3月，Silvio Denz購得此酒莊。身為香水設計師、葡萄酒愛好者、著名的萊儷水晶品牌 Lalique 的所有者，Silvio Denz還在瑞士（蘇黎世）擁有兩個葡萄酒公司，其中一個是瑞士最大的葡萄酒拍賣行«Denz Weine»。SilvioDenz 除了 Castillon 坡地上的 Chateau Cap de Faugeres葡萄園之外。Silvio Denz同時還身為葡萄酒工藝家 Peter Sisseck 在 Chateau Rocheyron  酒莊的股東，以及Fabio Chiarelotto 在義大利（Tuscany）的 Montepeloso。

Silvio Denz 酷愛藝術，特別是 Rene Lalique 品牌的水晶創作，他決定購買 Chateau Faugeres 酒莊，憑著此地優越的石灰石土質和鈣質黏土，並通過諮詢了Stephan von Neipperg 以及邀請全球著名的飛行釀酒師 Michel Rolland 前來指導釀酒工作。加強對酒品的研究，有利於 Faugeres 酒莊卓越土壤的表現，將 Chateau Faugeres 葡萄酒提升到最高地位。最終在 2012 年 Chateau Faugeres  酒莊被列入 Grand Cru Classe（列級酒莊）。

酒莊葡萄園由37公頃 Saint-Emilion最上乘均質的土地構成，主要以石灰石和黏土組合為主。該酒莊的葡萄酒通常由85%的 Merlot、10% 的 Cabernet Franc 和5%的 Cabernet Sauvignon 混釀而成，所有的葡萄都來自樹齡超過35年的葡萄樹。葡萄經手工採摘之後放入不銹鋼大桶中發酵，最後經雞蛋清澄清放入橡木桶中（50%是新桶）進行 14個月的陳釀。

酒莊釀造正牌酒ChateauFaugeres和副牌酒 Haut Faugeres 、Capde Faugeres。

Intense aromas of crushed raspberries, minerals and lilacs. Medium- to full bodied, with firm, yet very silky tannins and a long berry and vanilla aftertaste. Very fine indeed. Best after 2009. 8,330 cases made.

This is a big time sleeper of the vintage as well as one of the vintage's most attractively priced wines. Faugeres has turned out an opaque black/purple-colored 2000 displaying aromas of ink, black berry liqueur, licorice, and toasty oak. Seamless, rich, and full-bodied, with even more weight and length than it revealed prior to bottling, it is a reasonably-priced, serious wine that merits attention from consumers. Delicious stuff!

A nice nose of blackberries and hints of fresh herbs like lemon grass. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a soft, friendly finish. This is open and fun.
