Chateau La Tour de Mons 2020 Margaux 375ml《FH067B》

根據波爾多專家StephenBrook的著作《The Complete Bordeaux》。 Chateau LaTour de Mons城堡是瑪歌（Margaux）的一座古老建築，其歷史可追溯至13世紀，當時庫倫（Colomb）家族購買了如今已廢墟的城堡。它的名字來自皮埃爾·德·蒙斯（Pierre de Mons），他於1623年購買了該莊園。

在法國大革命後，蒙斯一家仍然成功保有業權。自蒙斯（Mons）的女兒結婚後，便傳給了加斯特布瓦（Gastebois）一家，該家族的後代於1995年將其財產賣給了一組金融機構。他們更聘請了Chateau Angelus金鐘酒莊的休伯特·德·鮑德（Hubert de Bouard）作為葡萄酒釀造和葡萄園管理計劃的顧問。

酒評家一般皆認為這裡擁有特殊的風土。它由一個包裹在各個碎石場上的地質組成，這些地段僅距離加隆河Gironde 約1公里的地方。有石灰石地層，還有一些非常適合種植赤霞珠的石質地塊。其中最古老的葡萄藤是於1934年種植的赤霞珠和小維爾多葡萄，此外自1997年以來已種植了8公頃葡萄。葡萄既可以通過機械方式也可以通過人工方式進行採摘。釀造手法是遵循百分百傳統的手法，使用精選的酵母。該酒在40％的新橡木桶中度過了12個月。

Really pretty and linear with a seamless, pretty core of blue fruit and firm, chewy tannins. Medium to full body. Racy and well done.

Composed of 57% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc and 3% Cabernet Franc, the 2020 La Tour de Mons is aging in French oak barrels, 30% new. The alcohol is 13%. Deep purple-black colored, it needs a little coaxing to reveal cedary notions over a core of black cherries, fresh blackberries and stewed plums, with touches of wild mushrooms and tree bark. The medium-bodied palate is a little thin, with a chewy frame and rather short, flat finish.
