ChateauMarquis de Terme位於波爾多(Bordeaux)左岸的瑪歌(Margaux)產區,在1855梅多克(Medoc)列級莊評級中被評為四級莊。

 

Chateau Marquis de Terme(德達侯爵酒莊) 曾經與ChateauRauzan-Segla(魯臣世家酒莊)ChateauRauzan-Gassies(露仙歌酒莊) 和 Chateau Desmirail (狄士美酒莊)   同屬一座酒莊,直到17世紀這個酒莊的各部分相繼分離,那時的莊主是 PierreDesmezures de Rauzan


而這座酒莊的名稱則誕生於1762年,當時一位名叫 Francoisde Peguilhan 的貴族娶妻成婚,而ChateauMarquis de Terme也作為嫁妝跟隨妻子一同入門,這位貴族便是 Marquisde Terme,酒莊的名字也因他而來。此外,在的發展史上還另一個重要家族 Feuillerat家族,此家族掌管酒莊120餘年,在此過程中,該家族成員一直致力於將酒莊打造成卓越的名莊,最終也成功使得酒莊榮登1855列級莊行列。

 



1935年, Seneclauze 家族成為了酒莊的新主人,目前酒莊管理者仍為此家族成員,該家族開啟了德達侯爵酒莊(ChateauMarquis de Terme)的現代發展之路。此外,2009年,曾為波爾多酒業巨擘 BernardMagrez 效勞在聖埃美隆(Saint-Emilion)的豐布拉格酒莊(ChâteauFombrauge)工作的Ludovic David 成為了ChateauMarquis de Terme總經理。LudovicDavid 有著豐富葡萄酒釀造、葡萄園管理以及集團經營的經驗,他的加入為酒莊帶來了技術、葡萄栽培以及設備等方面的革新,進一步促進了葡萄酒品質的提升。

 



ChateauMarquis de Terme 占地40公頃,露出地面碎石與黑沙、石英、粘土和石灰岩混合的土壤,深層砂礫士壤,葡萄園種植有55%的赤霞珠(Cabernet Sauvignon),35%的梅樂(Merlot)和7%的小維多(Petit Verdot),3% 品麗珠(Cabernet Franc),平均樹齡35年,每公頃種植10000株葡萄藤。 2013年份開始,侯爵侯爵酒莊開始在一小塊葡萄藤上進行有機耕作試驗。他們現在僅使用100%有機葡萄園管理技術耕種葡萄園,並於2017年獲得有機認證。

Impressive aromas of fresh summer berries, slate and toasty oak. This has a very succulent array of ripe red plums and berries and delivers a smooth, long and appealingly grainy edge of very plush, flavorful tannins. A lot to like here. A blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot. Try from 2021.

The 2016 Marquis de Terme is a deep, luscious wine, just as it was at en primeur. Dark red cherry, spice, tobacco, licorice and floral notes fill out the wine's layered frame effortlessly. Plush, forward and racy, the 2016 offers quite a bit of immediacy and overall appeal.

Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the nose of the 2016 Marquis de Terme is earthy with damp soil and forest floor over a core of black and red currants, tobacco and bay leaves plus a waft of garrigue. The palate is medium-bodied, refreshing and softly textured with juicy fruit.

🏅 Wine Enthusiast 92 pts
This relatively little-known estate is now performing well. In this vintage the wine has gained weight as well as blackberry fruits and rich tannins. Its balance is already there and the wine should develop to be drunk by 2023. 

🏅 Decanter 91pts
The firm tannins and fresh acidities of the vintage are fairly pronounced here at this stage. There are silky black fruits lying in wait underneath, but they're not expressive yet. It's a well constructed, confident wine, a reflection of the strides taken by this estate in recent years.

🏅 Jeb Dunnuck 91pts
The outstanding 2016 Château Marquis de Terme is an attractive, elegant wine that has classic Margaux character. Black cherry and blackberry fruits, hints of graphite and smoke earth, and plenty of tobacco leaf all emerge from this medium-bodied effort, which has some firm tannins and a great finish. Give bottles 3-4 years to let these tannins chill out, and it should drink beautifully for 15+ years.

🏅 Wine Spectator 90pts
Warm in feel, with dark plum, cassis and cherry compote flavors forming the core. Generally open in feel, with light cocoa, tobacco and alder notes adding spine and texture to offset the tasty fruit.

🏅 Jancis Robinson 16.5/20pts
Deep cherry. Fragrant with sweet dark-red and black fruit and a touch of oak sweetness. Firm, chewy, not trying to charm at the moment but it’s all in place, just needs to open and blossom.
