Pouget少有的一大原因是因為酒莊一開始以包銷形式只售賣給一個酒商Cordier，並不像其他在巿場流通的列級莊交由所有酒商分銷，加上酒莊只有10公頃葡萄園，在波爾多列級莊來說算是非常小，產量低，所以市場都很少見，從而知名度都比較低... 葡萄園比例大約有60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot和10% Cabernet Franc，樹齡平均35年，酒會視乎年份在30% - 50%(上至80%)新桶陳桶12-18個月，相對低桶，令酒更加果花香主導，更加Margaux~

亦相信就是因為太輕柔優雅，太"Margaux"的關係，令酒莊分數一向平平(例如影響力最大之一的Robert Parker就一向鍾情full body的酒)，連帶呼聲都比較少... 但家族都同時擁有的Margaux三級莊Boyd-Cantenac曾經被神之水滴高度推介過！形容有化妝舞會的感覺～所以Pouget實力都有一定水準！

葡萄園比例大約是60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot同10% Cabernet Franc，樹齡平均35年，酒會視乎年份在30% - 50 (最多80%)新桶陳桶12-18個月，相對的低桶令酒更加果花香主導，更加Margaux～

Very beautiful aromas of crushed berries such as blueberries and blackberries follow through to a full body, with velvety tannins and a fresh finish. Round textured and very approachable.

The smoky oak is a bit obvious, but this also has plenty of fruit and some real charm. The dry tannins are quite discreet, the savory finish quite long.

1990亦是波爾多靚年，是Chateau Margaux獲得Robert Parker 100分的一大好年，返貨不多，小試牛刀，心動不如行動～
