ChateauTour Saint Christophe坐落在Saint-Emilion邊境的Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes。葡萄園獨有特色，因為它部分種植在狹窄的梯田上，那裏的葡萄園往往排得很緊。這個層疊的景觀在Cassevert的山坡上展開，俯瞰著聖洛朗山谷。ChâteauTour Saint Christophe在2012年由Peter（Peter Kwok）和女兒Karen收購。Peter Kwok又名郭炎是香港金融大亨，他從1997年在Saint-Emilion買了他的第一座城堡Chateau Haut-Brisson，連續九年購買，今天共擁有七家酒莊，位於波爾多的Saint-Émilion，Pomerol， Lalande-de-Pomerol和Castillon，總面積超過50公頃，成為華人在波爾多區的投資大戶。

Chateau Tour Saint Christophe佔地20公頃，葡萄園有風土粘土和石灰石土壤。葡萄園種植80％梅樂及20％品麗珠。在較舊的土地上，葡萄藤的種植密度為每公頃6,500株葡萄藤。儘管赤霞珠的價格為每公頃8000葡萄，但新的葡萄種植區已將葡萄種植密度提高到每公頃7,500葡萄。在新主人接手後，他們做出的第一個決定就是重新種植大部分密度較高的葡萄園。還在葡萄園的山坡上搭建了梯田，使整個釀酒設備和酒窖完全現代化。所有的葡萄園管理工作都是使用有機的，生物力學上可持續的葡萄園耕種技術完成的。

為了生產Tour Saint Christophe的葡萄酒，酒莊聘請了著名的飛行釀酒師 Michel Rolland。葡萄酒釀造使用微釀造技術。對於Grand Vin，葡萄是全漿果發酵的。平均而言，有50％的葡萄酒是使用微釀造技術進行釀造的，這意味著一半的葡萄酒是在60％的新法國橡木桶中釀造的，蘋果乳酸發酵在桶中進行。然後在裝瓶之前，將葡萄酒在60％的新法國橡木桶中陳化平均18個月。

The same blend and élevage as the 2015, the2016 Chateau Tour Saint Christophe is another ripe, powerful wine that doeseverything right. Dense purple/blue, with a powerful bouquet of bloody bluefruits, iron, violets, and spring flowers, it’s full-bodied and concentrated onthe palate and has opened up and put on weight since I tasted it on release. Ithink it has a touch more mid-palate depth and concentration than the 2015, yetboth wines are fabulously balanced. The 2016 is more in the mold of the 2010,with the 2015 showing a more 2009 vibe. You can’t go wrong with either ofthese!

The 2016 Tour Saint Christophe has awonderful, beautifully defined bouquet of blackberry, raspberry, crushed stoneand hints of pressed flowers, all very focused and delineated. The palate iswell balanced, with fine but quite firm tannins and well-judged acidity, andvery persistent toward the finish. I appreciate the harmony and intensity ofthis Tour Saint Christophe. A wonderful Saint-Émilion from "teamKwok"!

The 2016 Tour Saint-Christophe is made upof 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. It was aged in 40% new, 40% one-year-oldand 20% two-year-old oak for 18 months. Medium to deep garnet-purple colored,it sings of roses, chocolate-covered cherries, redcurrant jelly and cinnamonstick with touches of cigar box and forest floor. Big, full-bodied and richlyfruited yet with great tension, it has a compellingly perfumed palate and gorgeousvelvety texture with great persistence. 5,000 cases produced.
