酒莊 Winery


Domaine de Baronarques 已有 374 年歷史，始終 1650 年，一開始名為 Domaine de Lambert，到了 1789 年法國大革命時把這 81 公頃的酒莊拍賣了給 Mr. Estribaud-Gaure，1875 年又賣給了 Michel Tisseyre，期間興建了得體的住所，成了真正的酒莊。最終在近年 1998 年被酒界最著名，以家傳戶曉的五箭頭做標誌，坐擁 Bordeaux 一級莊 Lafite 拉菲和 Mouton 武當的 Rothschild 家族買入，Baroness Philippine de Rothschild 和她 2 個兒子 Philippe Sereys de Rothschild 和 Julien de Beaumarchais de Rothschild 將酒莊重新命名做 Domaine de Baron’arques，一直翻新酒莊，後來他們的姊姊 Camille Sereys de Rothschild 在 2014 年也加入了團隊。在 2015 年正式正名為 Domaine de Baronarques （把'拿走了），2018 年完成了酒窖的翻新，令酒質更高更穩定！
產區 Region

五箭頭一級莊旗下出品質素當然有保證，而酒莊所在的產區 Limoux 也是高質的要素之一～


Limoux 是一個很新的產區，在 2003 年才成立，一般南法酒都因為較熱的氣候而來得濃厚，但 Limoux 這個產區因為較高的海拔有更涼快的微氣候，出品更優雅之餘又有成熟的果香和圓潤的酒體～Limoux 白酒更是 Languedoc 在 2010 年左右開始的 Grand Cru du Languedoc 分級之一，是南法分級金字塔的最頂層。


所以 Limoux 近年都多了釀造者關注和投資，而 Domaine de Baronarques 現時已經是區內最好的代表之一，Wine Advocate 也曾讚道："this estate's Chardonnay is usually excellent"。

有關釀造 Winemaking 

酒莊只有一款正牌白酒，用上 100% Chardonnay，在木桶中發酵，約 12% 經蘋果乳酸發酵，一般在法國木桶陳熟 8 個月，其中 33% 為新桶，33% 1 年舊桶，33%  年舊桶。

Apples and nougat with some peaches and pralines on the nose. Full-bodied, tight and poised with dried pineapple and mango. Some mineral and stone, too. Lots going on. Rather unique.


Wine Advocate 92

A reassuring return to form after a lesser 2017, the 2018 Limoux Chardonnay combines classy notes of pencil shavings with hints of toasted hazelnut and white peaches on the nose. It's medium-bodied, poised and elegant, with just enough custardy richness and generosity to balance the ripe, mouthwatering acids that linger refreshingly on the finish.
