聽著音樂盒般優雅的音樂，

展開了雖短暫卻快樂的旅途 ——

我感覺到遊樂場的旋轉木馬的微笑。

是的，這葡萄酒並沒有過山車那種迫力，也沒有摩天輪的規模，

但透過這支酒，卻可以令喝酒的人，享受到一次充滿變化的「小旅行」。

我喝的時候是這麼想的 ——

對呢，新鮮採摘的香橙的觸感過後，有一種令人安心的杏仁異香留下，然後慢慢消散，

是令人想再喝一杯的葡萄酒。

就像想再乘一次遊樂場的旋轉木馬一樣。

不過，這葡萄酒最大的魅力，是它的價錢。


早期的美人魚確實質量不大穏定，直至 1995 年當時年僅 24 歲修讀 MBA Finance 的 Alexander Van Beek，他原本只打算在銀行實習前的空檔到 Giscours 參與兩個星期的兼職採收工人，結果最後卻當上了酒莊的營運經理，剛離開校園(還不是本科)，年紀輕輕卻身居要職，證明這個來自荷蘭的小伙子絶不簡單，一上任便將莊園大面積重新栽稙，把 Cabernet Sauvignon 的比例提高️，而且增加栽種密度（到最後有多達 130000 葡萄樹需重新種植）。




不消幾年時間，酒莊出品已經回復到列級莊的水平而且往後每年品質逐步提高，從酒價就可反應巿場對他品質的認同，而酒莊將 Margaux 區外的 63 畝葡萄園所釀制的葡萄酒裝瓶為 Le Haut Médoc de Giscours，雖然 Le Haut Medoc de Giscours 和副牌 La Sirene de Giscours 對比以前酒價相應提升了不少，但依然有價有巿、而且 Haut Medoc 跟副牌品質差距不大，所以性價比超強，而且酒莊早在90年代引進了一種叫「逆滲透濃縮葡萄汁」的設備，這也解釋為什麼 Giscours 能在不好的年份也能保有一定水準的秘密之一，令酒友對這支旋轉木馬的美人魚愛不釋手，一玩再玩，一飲再飲～

A deep, layered Haut-Medoc with blackcurrant, mineral, sweet tobacco and bark. It’s full-bodied and tight, but shows reserve and balance. Savory. Supple. Best after 2022, but already a beauty.
