Monkey Shoulder is a whisky from William Grant and Sons. It's neither a single malt nor a blended whisky, but rather a blended malt whisky, drawn from the spirits of three William Grant and Sons distilleries: Glenfiddich, Balvenie, and Kinvinvie.

In 1886, William Grant founded his eponymous William Grant & Sons, building the Glenfiddich distillery with his bare hands in a valley in the Scottish Highlands. The first drop of whisky was distilled on Christmas Day 1887. William Grant & Sons, persevering with its original vision, has crafted numerous award-winning brands through independence, dedication, and the pursuit of excellence.
