一般波爾多紅酒就算有Petit Verdot, 比例都只會得5%以下用嚟帶出香料感、單寧同顏色~因為呢隻葡萄非常難種,比Cabernet Sauvignon更早發芽,更易受到霜害影響,又比Cab更遲成熟,代表喺凍啲嘅年份好難成熟到..
所以用得高比例甚至100%嘅話都代表酒莊一定擁有過人嘅風土同技術,最重要嘅係要付出更高嘅人力物力去種植同釀造!
酒莊同 Giscours 好相近,只係一條溝渠之隔,近年喺2004年被 Vincent Mulliez 買入後翻新改進,令酒質突飛猛進,但好可惜 Vincent 在2010年英年早逝。。欣慰係擁有法國大型超市 Auchan 嘅 Mulliez 家族打理之下酒莊都無退步~
除咗致力去保護環境,得到High environmental value (HEV) 環境保護證書之外,酒莊更加喺2020年得到 Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel(特級中級莊)級別,而 Exceptionnel 只有14間~2021年更俾 Penfolds 所屬集團Treasury Wine Estates收購,可見潛力無限!
呢款Petit Verdot亦係酒莊最高級別旗艦酒,2016年先第一年推出,一推出已獲得各大酒評高分肯定~用上分別喺1936,1940 同 1950 年種嘅老滕!手工精心挑選採收,非常低產,用14個月木桶陳熟,當中 20% 為新桶,25% 第二次用木桶,40% 第三次用木桶,仲有 5% 喺陶瓷陳熟,保持新鮮果感~

說它是剛柔並重是不無原因的~小維多一直給小編好strong的感覺,猶如一個壯男般!但細飲下去郤發現其細膩之處像温柔的女性般~紫紅色的酒色相當吸引! 開瓶後30分鐘呈現出鮮明的櫻桃、紅果、紫羅蘭和咖啡香氣。入口開初是有股微辣在舌底蹦蹦跳著,帶士多啤梨、羅漢果、茶葉。1.5小時後多了動物皮毛、煙絲和白胡椒的香氣,而單寧也變得非常的絲滑,餘韻很長! 而且那種集中度和濃郁感實在令人無法抗拒!

Coming from 100% Petit Verdot (which you don't see often), the 2018 Le Petit Verdot by Belle-Vue reveals a deep purple hue to go with smoky black fruits, scorched earth, graphite, and violet nuances followed by a rich, medium to full-bodied, impressively concentrated style on the palate. I love its tannins, it has wonderful purity of fruit, and is just loaded with potential. Give bottles 2-4 years, and it should be a treat to drink any time over the following 10-15 years.

Made from 100% Petit Verdot coming from vines planted in 1936, 1940 and 1950, the 2018 Petit Verdot by Belle-Vue was aged for 14 months in oak, 20% new, and has 14.5% alcohol. Deep garnet-purple colored, one swirl sets off an eruption of red and black fruit preserves scents, featuring stewed blackberries, kirsch and black raspberries, leading to an undercurrent of dark chocolate, unsmoked cigars and dusty soil. The medium-bodied palate is delicately crafted and refreshing, revealing intense,wonderfully pure red and black fruits with an approachable, grainy texture,finishing long and perfumed. This is a seriously interesting expression that should drink best in a year or two then should cellar gracefully over 15+years.
