Ruinart is the originator of the Champagne region. It was founded in 1729 and has a history of nearly three hundred years. The story of Ruinart originated from the Benedictine monk Thierry Ruinart. While studying in Paris, Thierry experienced "Champagne", a sparkling wine that was already popular among the aristocracy at the time. In 1729, under the guidance of Thierry, his nephew Nicolas Ruinart founded Maison Ruinart in Reims and began to brew champagne. Maison Ruinart has been passed down from generation to generation in the Ruinart family. It was not until the 1950s and 1960s that it was acquired by the LVMH Group (Moet & Chandon) due to business difficulties and became part of this luxury empire.
The bottle of Ruinart champagne is unique in shape and a little cute. This appearance design is a tribute to the champagne bottle of the 18th century. The famous painting "Luncheon with Oysters" by French painter Jean-François de Troy was completed at the same time as Maison Ruinart was established. It is also the earliest existing painting depicting the scene of drinking champagne. The shape of the bottle in the painting is almost the same as the bottle shape used by Maison Ruinart.

The excellence of champagne is inseparable from the mother that gave birth to it - the Champagne region. The Champagne region is located in the northeast of Paris, France. It is the northernmost wine producing region in France and has a cold climate. But the cold weather gives champagne a different sense of freshness. The typical chalky soil also contributes a lot, which can retain water well. At the same time, the white color will also have a reflective effect, which can improve the maturity of the grapes. The cold weather and chalky soil allow Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes to shine here and become the grape varieties for making champagne.
In the Champagne region, the vineyards that are as green as emerald and as golden as rice are mainly distributed in the Reims region, the capital of the Champagne Province, the Valle de Marne region and the Cote des Blancs region. The town of Reims is often chosen as the classic first stop for visiting Champagne. The town of Reims records the changes in history and tells the stories of the past. The magnificent Reims Cathedral is the symbol of Reims. When it suddenly appears in front of you, when you look up, carefully look for the unique angel with spread wings, the classic smiling angel, and slowly appreciate the countless exquisite sculptures, reliefs, and stained glass windows, you will be amazed and shocked.
