Viticulture

Made from grapes belonging to the area ofElciego. The vines are planted over very poor calcareous soils with a clay loamtexture. The vineyard is cultivated mainly employing a traditionalgoblet-pruned system. Winemaking The fermentation and maceration process iscarried out over a period of 20 days achieved in stainless steel vats with adaily pumping routine, which allows an optimal extraction of colour andtannins. The aging process lasts for 24 months, carried out in 225 litre Frenchoak barrels. The wine matures in the bottle for two years prior to its releaseon the market.

Rieserva is aged for 24 months in 225-liter American and French oak barrels. It is aged in the bottle for two years before being released to the market. Smooth and elegant, it shows the great aging potential of Tempranillo. Its medium intensity burgundy color, clear and bright, precedes a very complex and intense nose, among which there are aromas of very ripe fruits (plums and raisins) and very fine notes of French oak aging (spices, vanilla, tobacco). In the mouth it reveals a powerful round tannic structure that evolves well with aging.
