rancis Orban 位於離 Epernay 15公里的 Vallee de la Marne，Leuvrigny 村嘅中心，是 1920 開始的四代家族酒莊，由第一代開始已經是 Meunier 的守護者～現任莊主 Francis Orban 出生在 1980年，1999 年釀酒 + 農業系畢業後加入家族酒莊，將自己的知識加上家族悠久的經驗去延續對 Meunier 的熱情，所以理所當然地酒莊亦都是 Meunier Institut 的一員～

產區 Region

產區介紹 - Vallee de la Marne

酒莊位於 Vallee de la Marne，產區位於香檳區較北的位置，在 Cotes des Blancs 的西北面，氣候都會稍為再冷一點，所以霜害問題都會更常發生，產區東面的土壤比較多 chalk 白堊岩，是香檳區中常見的泥土，比較適合種 Pinot Noir 和 Chardonnay。

所以有幾間大香檳莊都位於 Vallee de la Marne 東面，包括：

Billecart-Salmon 和 Philiponnat 位於 Mareuil-sur-Aÿ，Deutz 和 Bollinger 位於 Aÿ，Jacquesson 位於 Dizy。

至於西邊的 chalk 就位於較深的泥土，表層主要是黏土、泥灰岩和沙，而因為 Pinot Meunier 適應力強，可以在其他葡萄表現不好的泥土上發揮，所以區內有 6 成的 Pinot Meunier 都是位於這裏，因此 Pinot Meunier 也是 Vallee de la Marne 的特長。

葡萄介紹 - Pinot Meunier 莫尼耶皮諾

Meunier 在 16 世紀被發現，是 Pinot Noir 的變種，雖然陳存力未必有其他 2 隻香檳葡萄那好，但相對 fruity，圓潤，酸度亦比較柔和，風格可以更輕鬆討好～

雖然算是早萌芽的品種，但因為相對 Chardonnay 和 Pinot Noir 更遲萌芽的關係，可以更易避過 Vallee de la Marne 冬天的頻繁霜害，亦都因為比較早熟而可以避過其他葡萄採收時間的降雨，種種原因令 Pinot Meunier 近年重新被重視，越來越多酒莊生產 100% Pinot Meunier 酒款，甚至由 Eric Taillet 成立了 Meunier Institut 去組織一班鍾情 Meunier 的釀酒師。

這款即使是沒有年份的 Brut Prestige，也用上了當年 50% 的年份酒，瓶陳最少 36 個月，比法定的 15 個月差不多多上 2 年，只有 5g/L 剩糖，乾身清爽
