Nordés Gin is a highly representative premium craft gin from the Galician region of Spain. Nordés Gin was founded in 2012 by three local artisans deeply involved in the spirits industry. The initial brand concept stemmed from a Galician octopus dinner. Driven by the initial desire to create a gin authentically Galician terroir, the three founders joined forces, resulting in this legendary gin. Among its key figures are founder Xoan Torres Cannas, a Golden Nose Award-winning sommelier; Juan Luis Méndez, a seasoned winemaker; and Pepe Albela, a top-tier master distiller. This professional team provides a solid foundation for the quality of its spirits. Today, the brand belongs to the renowned Spanish wine and spirits group Osborne, further solidifying its industrial strength and market influence. The brand's distillery is located in the San Pedro de Sarandón and Vedra regions of A Coruña, Spain, adjacent to Santiago de Compostela. It adheres to its core concept of "rooted in Galicia, preserving the terroir," insisting on small-scale production and using high-quality raw materials, rejecting industrial mass production, and maximizing the preservation of the pure aromas and flavors of the ingredients.
