Chateau Gruaud Larose（金玫瑰酒莊）坐落於法國波爾多Saint-Julien產區的西南部，在波爾多1855分級中被評為二級莊。

酒莊歷史可追溯到1725年，Joseph Stanislas Gruaud買下此處50公頃的地塊並開始種植葡萄，Chateau Gruaud Larose（金玫瑰酒莊）的序幕由此揭開。在Gruaud家族中，有兩位家族成員，法官Abbe Gruaud和牧師Chevalier de Gruaud，對Chateau Gruaud Larose（金玫瑰酒莊）的建立影響深遠。兩人將各自的地塊合併，創建了占地面積達116公頃的Fond Bedeau，並分別出售不同的酒款。

1778年，Chevalier de Gruaud去世後，其所屬古奧騎士葡萄酒及酒莊由他的女婿Joseph Sebastian de La Rose接管。Joseph將其姓氏命名酒莊，於是酒莊更名為如今的“Gruaud Larose”。此後幾百年，因財產繼承以及買賣等事情，酒莊數度易主，所有權分分合合，先後歸Cordier家族以及Taillan Group的執掌者Merlaut家族所有。自1997年至今，酒莊便一直由Merlaut家族掌管。這些財力雄厚的家族為Chateau Gruaud Larose（金玫瑰酒莊）帶來了先進的科技設備、合理的管理模式與廣闊的國際市場，使得Chateau Gruaud Larose（金玫瑰酒莊）在尊重傳統和保護環境的同時，釀制出世界一流的葡萄酒。

Chateau Gruaud Larose（金玫瑰酒莊）的葡萄園占地面積達82公頃，種有65%的Cabernet Sauvignon、25%的Merlot、5%的Cabernet Sauvignon和5%的Petit Verdot，Cabernet Sauvignon的比重較之前有明顯提升。園內擁有排水性佳且排水性良好的礫石層，非常適合Cabernet Sauvignon的生長，土層有較大的空隙，適合葡萄樹往下紮根。礫石層下層為石灰質黏土和沙質土壤，為葡萄提供需要的養分，同時賦予了葡萄酒較高的單寧。園內種植密度為每公頃10,000株葡萄樹，平均樹齡為46年，其中Cabernet Sauvignon老藤的樹齡可達80年以上。在葡萄園管理方面，酒莊秉承尊重自然的原則，主張有機種植與生物動力法。

採收的葡萄經過嚴格篩選後，被置於30個容量為55至115百升不等的橡木桶和32個容量為50至100百升的水泥罐中進行酒精發酵。其後，酒液會被置於水泥罐和橡木桶中進行蘋果酸-乳酸發酵（malolactic fermentation）。發酵完成後，酒莊正牌酒的酒液會被轉入橡木桶陳釀18個月，新桶的使用比例為85%。

在Chateau Gruaud Larose（金玫瑰酒莊）的徽標上刻著這樣一句話——“王者之酒，酒中之王”（Le Vin des Rois, Le Roi des Vins），這句話充分顯示出金玫瑰葡萄酒儘管算不上波爾多前列酒款，但卻足以贏得人們的尊重。

Gruaud Larose has always tried to give value to the role of man in the creation of its elixir;
both to his work and to the bond established with the vineyard.
The vine stocks and the grapes are nothing without man, without these makers of Crus, from the most modest to the most powerful.
Since its creation, in 1725, four families have succeeded one another at the head of Gruaud Larose: the Gruaud & Larose families, the Balguerie and Sarget families, the Cordier family and the Merlaut family.
This family attachment has been passed on to the employees who often work at the Château from father to son and from mother to daughter.
