Chateau d'Arche Bordeaux Blanc 2022《醇酒系列 - F132A》

Chateau d’Arche is one of the older estates in the Sauternes appellation. The property was founded by its namesake Henry d’Arche, in 1580. Over the years, like many Bordeaux wine producers, the estate was divided and sold off at different times to a wide array of owners.

At one point, it was known as Chateau d’Arche-Lafaurie-Peyraguey, due to the fact it was shared owners with Chateau Lafaurie-Peyraguey. In 1996, a new drainage system was installed in the vineyards. In 2005, Chateau d’Arche was sold by the Perromat family to an investor group.

Chateau d'Arche enjoys a privileged geographical location. Located 45 minutes from Bordeaux International Airport, the winery is nestled in the mountains of the Sauternes appellation, overlooking several renowned First Growths, including Chateau d'Yquem and Chateau Guiraud, both of which are Chateau d'Arche's neighbors. The vineyard's location allows the grapes to receive maximum sunlight from both the north and south.

Chateau d'Arche's exceptional location, combined with the diverse soils within its vineyards, is ideal for grape cultivation. The strength of the gravel soil and the elegant aroma of the clay contribute to wines with a highly specific flavor and exceptional quality. These wines embody the fine characteristics of the entire vineyard, laying the foundation for the aging potential of Sauternes sweet wines.

Château d'Arche produces nearly 4,500 cases of wine annually. They also produce a second wine, Prieure d'Arche. In addition to the two flagship wines, the winery also produces a premium cuvée from two hectares of its oldest vines. d'Arche Lafaurie is aged for 24 months in 100% new French oak barrels. The winery also produces a dry white wine, d'Arche Blanc, from one hectare of vineyards, as well as a dry white Bordeaux wine from its vineyards in the Graves appellation.

Château d'Arche's "A" is a dry white wine from the Bordeaux appellation of origin with a rich minerality. This wine, a blend of 85% Semillon and 15% Sauvignon Blanc (hand-harvested), fully reflects the terroir.
