Domaine Coquard Loison Fleurot, located in Burgundy, France, has been managed by the Coquard family for five generations.
The estate boasts an incredible six Grand Cru vineyards across prestigious appellations such as Vosne Romanée and Gevrey Chambertin in the Cote de Nuits, including key vineyards in Grands Echezeaux, Echezeaux, Clos de Vougeot, Charmes Chambertin, Clos de la Roche, and Clos Saint Denis.
The dynamic Commercial Director of Domaine Coquard Loison Fleurot, Claire Fleurot, and the newest generation, represented by young winemaker Thomas Colladot, have worked together to take the estate to new heights by expanding its global reputation. Thomas Colladot previously worked for Sylvain Cathiard, another renowned Vosne Romanée winery, and became close friends with Sebastian Cathiard, the fourth-generation owner. They shared a common winemaking philosophy: they believed that producing quality wines began with cultivating high-quality grapes. Sebastian's and Thomas & Claire's vineyards are both renowned for being among the finest in Burgundy. Previously, the family's wines were sold to négociants. In 2010, Thomas returned to the family to help and began bottling and selling under the family winery's name. Despite its short history, the wines have been well-received by connoisseurs.

Domaine Coquard Loison Fleurot's vineyards span 9 hectares across 10 plots:
Grands Echezeaux (0.18 hectares) in Vosne Romanee (Grand Cru), Echezeaux (1.29 hectares) in Vosne Romanee (Grand Cru), Clos de Vougeot (0.64 hectares) in Vougeot (Grand Cru), Clos de la Roche (1.17 hectares) in Morey st Denis (Grand Cru), Clos st Denis (0.17 hectares) in Moreyst Denis (Grand Cru), Charmes Chambertin (0.32 hectares) in Gevrey Chambertin (Grand Cru), Vosne Romanee (1er Cru), Vosne Romanee (1.68 hectares), Chambolle Musigny (0.8 hectares), and Gevrey Chambertin (0.21 hectares). These plots are planted with traditional Burgundy grape varieties: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Coquard owns approximately 0.8 hectares of Chambolle Musigny vineyards. Benefiting from the unique terroir of Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, the company benefits from a mix of limestone and clay soils, a cool climate, and mid-slope vineyards. The resulting Pinot Noir displays elegant floral aromas, vibrant acidity, and fine tannins, making it a truly representative Chambolle Musigny-style wine.

Coquard Loison winemaking utilizes traditional Burgundian vinification methods while incorporating modern techniques. Grapes are harvested manually and 100% destemmed. Fermentation takes place in open vats for 12-15 days. During fermentation, capping and decantation are performed daily, with temperature constantly controlled by thermostats. All wines mature for approximately 18 months. His wines are renowned among wine lovers for their clarity and purity, often characterized by a light and elegant style. Sylvain Cathiard recognized Thomas's potential as a rising star, particularly his winemaking techniques. In 2017, his Clos de La Roche surpassed Armand Rousseau Grand Echezeaux and Echezeaux, and even matched DRC in popularity.
