Hibiki is a blended whisky brand from Suntory. "Blended" refers to a blend of malt and grain whiskies.

Hibiki does not have its own distillery, but instead blends spirits from Suntory distilleries such as Hakushu and Chita. While blended whiskies are generally priced lower than single whiskies, Hibiki has earned high market recognition thanks to the experience and skill of its blenders.

The Yamazaki Distillery primarily produces aromatic spirits, while Hakushu Distillery's spirits offer a refreshing taste and a soft aroma. Chita Distillery produces grain spirits that enhance the overall flavor and balance the overall blend. The blenders don't simply select a single spirit from each distillery; sometimes, they carefully select a variety of spirits based on the blender's judgment, resulting in the complex and delicate flavor of Hibiki.
