Madame Veuve Point ‍龐特夫人生於釀酒世家，在 1903 年時 26 歲的她就成了寡婦，丈夫離世之後一邊投身於釀酒一邊努力照顧孩子，但都不斷精益求精，力圖在當時女釀酒師不被重視的釀酒圈中站穩腳跟。1904年，佢帶著自家的布根地酒坐船 6 個月到美國參加聖路易斯世界博覽會，結果一舉就獲得"最佳卓越獎"！鋪下了實力的伏線～

現在去到第五代的女莊主 Géraldine Point 接手，同樣是女性主導～致力做出女性化的優雅酒款！近年酒莊多個酒款都開始有獎有分數！除了有多個世界女性酒評競賽、International wine challenge、wine enthusiast 的獎項肯定之外，酒莊的 Volnay Premier Cru Clos de Chenes 2019 甚至獲得 Decanter Platium 97分！！分數之高可見潛力無窮～

酒莊對木桶的使用非常精妙，為了避免過強的木桶氣息掩蓋葡萄本來的香氣，只採用不超過 10% 的新木桶，也採用木桶和不銹鋼桶混釀的方式。同時在陳釀的過程中，全新的木桶會吸收大量的葡萄酒，這個情況被稱為 "the angels share"～而酒莊亦相當注重這個細節，會不斷添回酒液去避免酒液和氧氣接觸太多而有過份氧化的風格，去保持純正，女性化的 house style～同時表達出當地風土特有的風格～根據不同的酒款桶陳 10-24 個月。

This wine displays a deep ruby color and reveals an intense bouquet of red and black berries (strawberry, cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry), evolving towards more complex aromas of prune, pepper, leather, and undergrowth. On the palate, it delights with its liveliness, suppleness, and balance between volume and finesse, offering a structure that is both firm and fleshy.
