Chateau Margaux呢間一級莊相信都唔洗多介紹，一向都係世界頂級酒莊之一，連美國第一任駐法大使，後來成為第三任美國總統嘅Thomas Jefferson都讚嘆："無比Chateau Margaux更加好嘅波爾多酒"！甚至喺當年1855分級時，Margaux都係唯一一間拎到20分滿分嘅一級莊！值得一提嘅係2001年時任中國國家主席胡錦濤到訪波爾多都係Chateau Margaux負責接待！

瑪歌堡早在1710年已經開始釀造白酒，早年以 Chateau Margaux Sauvignon White Wine 一名出售。自1920年起，品牌更名為 Pavillon Blanc Du Chateau Margaux。此白亭2020剛好是慶祝更名100週年的紀念版本，所以酒瓶上特別多了 192020此標貼。

釀制白亭的12公頃葡萄園地處酒莊一片非常古老的地塊，專門栽種Sauvignon Blanc。1955年正式劃分瑪歌產地時，這塊地由於春霜風險較高而沒有被劃入瑪歌產地。

白葡萄的酸度依然是確定採摘最佳時機的主要標準。2020年份白葡萄收穫季從8月24日開始至9月1日結束。恰到好處的酸度賦予葡萄酒清新的芳香，以及特別悠長、縈繞不絕的餘韻。白亭在橡木桶熟化7-8個月後裝瓶。

白亭葡萄酒總是令人很驚艷，其精細度、複雜性、醇厚度和長度是一般100% Sauvignon Blanc無法比擬的。年輕的白亭即已具有令人難以抗拒的誘惑力，而且其Aging Potential相當強，是一款適合現飲也適合陳存的優秀一級莊白葡萄酒。

The clarity and focus of this white isphenomenal with honeysuckle, white peach, lavender, and melon aromas thatfollow through to a full body, yet it’s tight and focused with super finephenolics that keep it together. Great balance between the opulence andfreshness. It has great acidity. Incredible energy. pH 3.1.

Clear gunsmoke character with slate andgraphite, also a ton of white peach, white pear, some sweet mango and a scrapeof salinity on the finish. This is balanced and successful, and easy torecommend, completing a strong set of wines at Margaux in the 2020 vintage. 40%of the overall production in the final blend. 3.01pH. Harvest from 24 August toSeptember 1. 100th anniversary of the name Pavillon Blanc (even though theyhave made a white wine at Margaux for 300 years).

The 2020 Pavillon Blanc is gorgeous. Rich,creamy and expansive on the palate, the Blanc captures all of the radiance ofthe year. Apricot, passionfruit, mint, lime, crushed rocks and sage all open inthe glass. As with the red wines, Pavillon Blanc is at first quite opulent, butthen shows the more energetic side of the year on the mid-palate and finish.That's a pretty fabulous combination in my book. Best after 2023.

I always love the white from this chateau.Their 2020 Chateau Margaux Pavillon Blanc (100% Sauvignon Blanc) has a vibrant,racy, yet still concentrated style to go with classic aromatics of brightcitrus, grapefruit, honeyed mint, and a kiss of chalky minerality. Thismedium-bodied, bright, balanced white will benefit from just 2-3 years ofbottle age and keep for over a decade. Best After 2025.

The 2020 Pavillon Blanc bursts with aromasof lemongrass, crisp green apple, white flowers and fresh mint, followed by amedium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy palate that's pure, racy and charming,exhibiting a somewhat more giving profile than the more chiseled 2019.
