Chateau La Pointe（柏安特酒莊）是法國波爾多 Pomerol產區的酒莊之一，亦為Union DesGrands Crus De Bordeaux的成員之一。在1868年就已經是在其名稱中帶有“Chateau”二字的兩家Pomerol酒莊之一。當時葡萄園的面積已經有22公頃，這一點使得它成為最重要的Pomerol原產地命名酒之一。有資料記載自1882年以來它的葡萄酒就已經獲得了諸多榮譽，例如波爾多博覽會以及1883年阿姆斯特丹萬國博覽會上的銀獎。

酒莊在經歷了一個半世紀的發展之後，現在已經躋身於Pomerol產區最偉大的酒莊之列。2007年法國Generali保險集團買下Chateau LaPointe並於隔年禮聘 Hubert deBouard 擔任釀酒顧問，他除了是世界著名的葡萄酒專家，也是St-Emilion金鐘堡（ChateauAngelus) 的莊主。

從2008年起，酒莊開始進行了新一輪的大規模翻新，這充分顯示了酒莊葡萄園的潛力。酒莊對土壤進行了全面的研究，完善了排水系統，使葡萄園的改良工作取得了很大的進展。此外，酒莊還降低了Cabernet Sauvignon 的種植比例，還適當提高了Cabernet Franc 的產量，這十分有利於葡萄酒變得更加精美和優雅。

Chateau La Pointe是一個極富魅力的酒莊，擁有23公頃葡萄產區的Chateau LaPointe是Pomerol最大的酒莊之一，其中有85%的土地用來栽培 Merlot葡萄，還有15%的土地用來栽培 CabernetFranc 葡萄。酒莊的葡萄植株總是得到精心的照料：嫁接在優質的砧木上，規律地安排補種新株。所有這些葡萄樹的平均樹齡為35年。當葡萄達到理想的成熟狀態後，酒莊會通過人工方式進行採摘。採摘後的葡萄經過篩選、破皮後，會通過傳統方式進行釀制。每個釀酒罐都設有溫度控制系統，發酵是在理想的狀況下運行，以確保葡萄酒的品質。根據葡萄種類、地塊土質以及年份的不同，採用迴圈噴淋或壓酒帽的程式，以充分萃取顏色和單寧。釀制得來的葡萄酒會再進入50%新的法國橡木桶中熟成12個月，最後在酒莊內完成裝瓶。

Rich and layered La Pointe. Full body, round and juicy tannins and a flavorful finish. Polished texture. Pretty and impressive.

The 2016 La Pointe has a lovely raspberry and crushed strawberry bouquet that gently unfolds in the glass, revealing hints of lavender in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin and a fine bead of acidity, and quite elegant and savory toward the finish. Not the longest-term Pomerol on the block, but a finely made wine by Eric Monnoret and his team, and I appreciate the pepperiness on the aftertaste.

This has a sappy beam of kirsch and cherry paste notes pumping through the middle, flanked by a snap of anise and fresh apple wood detail. Just a bit square through the finish, but otherwise a solid, what-you-see-is-what-you-get style.
