Bernard Magrez 是現今葡萄酒業介內唯一一位擁有四個列級酒莊的莊主，旗下著名的酒莊包括位於法國波爾多的克萊蒙教皇酒莊（Château Pape Clément）、拉圖嘉利酒莊（Château La Tour Carnet）、芳寶酒莊（Château Fombrauge）及奧派瑞酒莊（Clos Haut-Peyraguey）。葡萄園位於法國南部不同地理位置及遍佈其他八個國家。 

Chateau Fombrague 芳寶酒莊地處法國波爾多右岸的Saint-Emilion產區，於2012年獲評Saint-Emilion Grand Cru，是目前為止該產區面積最大的Grand Cru。“Fombrauge”一詞由“fons brogiera”衍生而來，意為“周圍長滿灌木叢和石楠花的水泉”。關於酒莊的文字記錄最早出現在大約6個世紀以前。1575年，酒莊種下了第一批葡萄樹。17世紀末，酒莊因聯姻關係成為了Dumas家族的產業。該家族在酒莊推行了一系列先進的種植釀造技術——篩選葡萄品種，修剪葡萄樹及分地塊釀造等等，並獲得了巨大的成功。之後，酒莊被出售給Ferdinand de Taffard，在他的領導下，酒莊釀制的葡萄酒在1876年Exposition Universelle de Paris上奪得金獎。1999年，Bernard Magrez先生購下莊園並一直經營至今。Magrez先生接手後對酒莊進行了大規模整改，包括重新規劃葡萄園及翻新酒窖等。

葡萄園共佔地58.6公頃，園內土壤由鈣質黏土、石灰岩和砂石構成，豐富的土壤類型和多樣化的朝向使得酒莊的葡萄酒複雜而有個性。酒莊在堅持傳統理念的前提下積極擁抱新型技術，引入先進的無人機來輔助葡萄園管理。葡萄成熟後全部由人工採摘，並存放於細板條箱中，以防止葡萄破損氧化。  

在葡萄酒釀造上，依舊秉承傳統理念。葡萄在去梗前後都需經過嚴格的品質篩選，而後分別進入木桶、水泥罐、不銹鋼罐及陶罐中發酵。期間工作人員適時進行人工壓帽，從而充分萃取單寧及風味物質。在“飛行釀酒師”米歇爾·羅蘭（Michelle Rolland）和專業釀酒團隊的通力合作下，酒莊以Saint-Emilion 這片優越風土為據點，為廣大酒迷持續呈獻品質佳釀。

試酒筆記：覆盆子、車厘子等黑色水果的香氣和朱古力、礦物、香草的味道伴隨著飽滿的酒體，入口帶有少許幹蘑菇的氣息，香甜濃郁，單寧結實、細膩。Robert Parker 稱這款華麗的2000年份幾乎沒有什麼缺點。

The 2014 Fombrauge is dark, sensual and inviting. Plum, black cherry, smoke, tobacco and cedar are some of the manynotes that flesh out in the glass. Sumptuous and racy, the 2014 exudes finesse and nuance, but with plenty of theMagrez signature richness. Stylistically, the Fombrauge is a bit more finessed than the Magrez-Fombrauge, which is nota bad thing, as these wines are born with so much natural richness. Tasted three times.

Intense aromas of blueberries, blackberries and flowers follow through to a full to medium body, tight and chewy tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Tight and linear. Pretty polish to this.

91–93. Barrel Sample. While there are some initial bitter chocolate extraction flavors, the main thrust of this wine shows rich plums and opulent fruitiness. It is a concentrated wine with a streak of acidity that gives it a delicious final lift.
